Dan has come to my rescue several times since I bought my VERY OLD house. First time was when my kitchen sink backed up. Dan came out and diagnosed the problem as clogged pipes and my garbage disposal not working anymore. We went to home depot and he spent about an hour helping me pick out the right garbage disposal, and a new sink and faucet. He explained everything to me and kept me involved the whole time. He ran new pipes from my basement to my sink since the pipes were old and needed to be replaced anyways. While working on that he realized my sewer line had cracked and needed to be replaced as well. He fixed everything within a couple of hours and the job was well done. The second time we used Dan he installed the new pipes for our new laundry room. Again he came out and got the job done. This last time was recently when the sewer system backed up into my half bathroom and mudroom. I called Dan in a panic trying to figure out how to stop it and asking for help. He was at my house within an hour. Come to find out there was a clog 75 ft out at the road. Dan cleaned up the mess, cleared out the clog and put my toilet back together. I couldn't be happier. Dan, owner and operator, a licensed master plumber, is a all American guy. When I called to get estimate, he asked when I would like him to come, I said it really didn't matter, that I would have to take a day off work, and he offered to come Saturday morning if that would help, and not charge extra. He came, we went over the options that I had, he did the job. I was really impressed with the way he knows he's business. Bottom line, I had work done by Blessing heating and plumbing, (you can see the review I gave on their yelp). There estimate on the same job was option one, Blessing 602.09, all American 300.00 to 350.00. Option two Blessing, 1953.00, All American $1,100.00. Dan installed a well tank at my house. He left and it was still leaking. I called him the next morning and he did not even return my call until 9:45 PM. He said he would come out the next morning. After having mopped up the floor the previous night and all day, I began investigating. I learned that not only did he over charge me, but the water was leaking from the new connection he had installed from the tank to the pump. He had glued it together but obviously did not glue it very well. After having talked with several plumbers about the poor job Dan did, I had another plumber come out to fix the problem. While a leak in the basement might not be a big deal to him, it sure was to me. Needless to say, Dan will not be doing anymore jobs at my house! Dan came out this morning to do a plumbing repair for us. He arrived exactly on time, was incredibly careful and efficient and fixed the broken pipe. He replaced the old pipe with a plastic one that is good to 40 degrees below zero so we should never have to worry about the pipe freezing in the garage again. He also moved the pipe closer to the garage wall to alleviate any problems with tripping or stepping on the pipe. The cost was a little more than I had expected, perhaps because there was an additional helper but all in all, I am very pleased. Dan is extremely professional and knows his stuff. I found and chose All American Plumbing because of the great reviews that were posted. Also, he was close to my home. All the reviews basically said the same good things in different words. That is what got my attention. After speaking with Dan on the phone, I continued to have good vibes. When Dan showed up at my house an hour later, on a Sunday, he was professional, quite knowledgeable, very informative, and he fixed my leaky problem in a matter of minutes. I felt comfortable in knowing that he did not attempt to rake me over the coals. In other words, he did quality work, and I would definitely recommend him for your plumbing needs! OMG what a relief to find Dan and have him come out to do some work at my home. I have had several plumbers out in the past several months for a flooding problem in my basement, coming from my kitchen sink above. It Dan a few minutes of working on this to realize the last owner of my home did some weird piping configurations He was able to open a small area in my ceiling fix the clog drain and make some recommendations to elevate the problem in the future. Called at 10:00 AM on a Thursday with a backed up sewer line in my basement. Gave me a 1 hour window, and showed up right on time. Dan, the owner I believe, did the job in a timely fashion, was polite, cleaned up, and seemed priced right in line with most of the places I called.
