I was told beforehand that the carpet would be dry in just a few hours after being cleaned. They asked me if I wanted a "stain protector" for the carpet (It was offered free), but I declined. After the two very young men were finished with the cleaning, we left to go shopping for three or four hours. When we came home I tested the carpet to make sure it was dry; I was absolutely shocked to feel the carpet: it was very wet, not damp, and it had a sticky feel to it. I called the company and was told to wait until morning to check it again. In the morning, I tried to vacuum the carpet (as I was told to), but it was impossible: the carpet was so sticky the vacuum wouldn't budge! It was still wet in many areas after more than 24 hours. In short, I had to argue extensively with this company to refund my money, as they offered to re-clean the carpet, which was just not an option when I thought it was already completely ruined by their unprofessional "work." I was so upset because not only did they soak my expensive carpet and leave it with a extremely sticky residue, but they ended up telling me that they in fact HAD used the stain protector on my carpet, despite me telling them I didn't want it. On top of this horrible experience, they didn't just admit guilt and refund my money. It wasn't until I told them I would put the charge in dispute with my credit card company that they finally agreed. If it wasn't for Pinnacle Chem Dry in Jackson, I believe we may have had to remove all the carpet and replace it. Pinnacle was so incredibly professional and cleaned my carpet twice, removing all the residue and saved us from a huge expense. I realized after having Pinnacle clean my carpet, that Fullers didn't use the same kind of equipment and never arrived in a professional carpet cleaning van. Pinnacle Chem Dry is who I recommend to everyone.

These guys are great. I work for a carpet cleaning/restoration company in Austin Tx. I was visiting…read moremy family here in Lansing. My mom needed her carpets cleaned for the holidays. Rook and Emma came on a Saturday and were polite, fast, and did a great job. They are fair with their pricing and the equipment they used was top of the line. I would highly recommend them. Two thumbs up.

We had an appointment window from 8-1. We were called telling us they would be here at 1:30. They…read morearrived at 2. We were scheduled for a 15x20 living room carpet, basement stairs, 15x20 carpeted basement, 5x7 area rug and 2 runners to be cleaned. They sprayed some orange scented cleaner that took our breath away and we had to wear KN95 masks and my husband actually had to go outside and sit on the front porch. As I stated they pulled in the driveway at 2:00 and left our front door at 2:47. (47 total minutes). Needless to say the stains are still where I pointed them out to the cleaner. We were informed to wait for 24-48 hours for the carpets to dry. I phoned Modernistic and Lexie was kind enough to try to find a crew that could come out this evening but was unsuccessful. She offered a couple options tomorrow, more sitting around waiting for the 8-11 or 1-4 windows and I declined because I do not want to wait an additional day for the carpet to dry out. I used Modernistic in the past but unfortunately will not in the future. The smell is throughout the house and takes your breath away and the carpets are definitely not clean. I appreciate the offer of a new crew tomorrow but think I should be entitled to at least a partial refund.

Not even worth a star... in January 2021, we lost heat... called Blakes heating & Cooling, they…read morecame out 2 days later, tht wasn't the problem... We needed a whole new furnace and said should also get new AC unit as well for Summer, we did.. $10,000... well we had ro call thm back again 2022 for a leaking overflow/ the thing on bottom tht hold the condensation.. paid $300 for tht whn they actually wanted more but GAVE US A SMALL DISCOUNT, and now 2023... we called for a tune up, clean and their wording was, WE DONT HAVE TIME, OR WORKERS FOR THT, so we called another company LAMEERS and upon thm arriving they tell me tht whoever installed furnace did bare minimal, using a single venting pipe to ONLY use the basement air for flow when the wall is LITERALLY RIGHT THERE, they cud have just piped it thru the upper wood, and showed me all the places tht should have been sealed tht wasn't... thn before he left he took us thru and showed EVERYTHING he had to repair behind Blake's, here are just a few... didn't seal a place which made the condensation collect in the bottom of NEW FURNACE where the motor is leaving corrosion and thick so he cleaned tht HAD TO SCRAP it, back in the actual furnace same area a crap load of dust, which showed Blake's didn't clean area, screws were missing only used 2 where 4 was needed leaving air flowing into basement, the line for condensation was pinched of 3 places and doing the 4th place whn he was showing us, a rubber piece down in area where motor is wasn't attached, the clamp was laying NEXT to it, had to reseal the whole thing cuz Blake's sealed leaving gaps still which was loosing air into basement... So for me to even give them 1 star wud be lying... they aren't worth 1 star... whn I told Lammer about the $300 condensation compartment, he was like whoa $300, and tht was AFTER they did furnace... shook his head... he wouldn't talk bad about any other company but said they didn't even do bare minimal, they just threw together and told us what we wanted to hear becuz we didn't know what we were seeing anyway... I DO NOT RECOMMEND BLAKES HEATING & COOLING EVEN IF THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES OPEN...
