We made an appointment to get an estimate. A knowledgeable member of the Steele Team arrived on schedule and reviewed our options. A few days later we received the estimate, one that was lower than an earlier estimate we had received from a competitor, and we approved the job. The following week the installation crew arrived and put in the Breeze 33 system, including the air conditioning unit, 8 ducts strategically positioned in bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, an air handler (installed in the hallway ceiling), and the outdoor unit behind the house. The crew was excellent and got the job done in a single day. They meticulously cleaned up after themselves -- actually, they did better than that, vacuuming the stairway cleaner than it was before they came and repositioning personal items in rooms that might be impacted by falling dust from the drilling. Our experience was great. Now we're set for whatever inferno this summer has in store for us. Highly recommended!

He's been so accommodating to make time and has gotten me in on the same day multiple times as well. His prices are very fair, he's transparent about why he's doing what he's doing, and he's also very intentional about keeping your system going and not trying to sell you on a replacement or upgrade. In a world where things are getting more expensive, it's even more important to me to have experts who are able to keep things running! On top of his expertise and great business practices, Al is super nice and always very friendly -- I appreciate that he even remembered about elements of my life from when we'd talked multiple years prior to my latest service. 5 stars for sure! I thought they should be able to diagnose better than a guess. I called Crain and they were out to the house the next day. They plugged in a tester and informed me that it was the motor control module that was bad. The cost to repair was $1200.00 and the system was 18 years old. I elected to have a complete system (furnace and AC) installed. Crain was there the next day and did a complete install in one day. There was some miscommunication about Lennox financing but that issue falls to Lennox rather than Crain. Workers were prompt and courteous. They covered my basement carpet with a tarp and even covered my wood flooring steps with a tarp trying to be overly cautious of my home. I thought the tarp on the steps was dangerous for them but that's what they did. I don't believe the cost of the system was out of line. Prompt service, good pricing, courteous workers, steps taken to protect my home, and the install went smoothly. Not sure what more you could ask for. There is always someone who will find fault with some minuscule detail but they did a good job for me. The most important question, Would I recommend this company to you. Answer, Yes. Here is it 1000 the next day and we still have not received a call back. This is the second year in a row that this company has done this to my family. Last year it was the same situation, late night furnace didn't work properly, I made 4 calls through the night promised each time that they would call back, at 0400 I got tired of being cold and not getting a call back, left a bad google review and within minutes of posting that review they called me telling me that they don't offer 24 hour service to non customers. I explained to them that they installed and have been servicing our furnace for years. The lady told me that had I given them my husbands information they would have called back. That was a lie, because this year I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and called them again, gave them my husbands information and still almost 12 hours later not a single call back.

This led us to trust them to service our 3 year old mini split after it stopped cooling and had already been recharged by the installer. It was now off warranty, so we decided to get their opinion. We let him do it, and then in 3 weeks the cooling failed and the coolant was empty. Tommy came back and told us we do have a large leak, but it's new and not related to the previous issue. He billed almost 400 dollars to tell us this, and then quoted over 1000 for the new leak fix. Just because they do good work most of the time, be careful. You can still be taken advantage off.
