This was the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend. No response. I called Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday...no answer, left messages except Thursday. Also, sent an inquiry on their website. I finally did receive a response via email on Thursday (a week later). They didn't have any record of my text and the date I needed was booked already...I would have hoped that someone would have reached out to me if they hadn't received my text, and/or checked their voicemail. I told them I had to find another mover as I was under a time crunch.

We originally looked at other well known options. We have moved using other well-known truck…read morerental places (names start with U and P) but because it was winter and our move was from Colorado to Washington in winter I was quite apprehensive about driving a 20ft truck through the mountain passes of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming Idaho and Washington. Especially towing our car. So we decided to check out U-Pack. Probably one of the best decision I've ever made. They brought us a 28ft trailer and even though we only reserved 17ft, they told us to feel free to use more if needed (at an additional nominal cost per foot). They placed it in front of our house with the ramp down and ready for us to load it. We had it loaded within a day or two and I called them and they came next business day and picked it up. Approximately 10 days later the trailer was delivered to the front door of our new home. Because we packed it we knew that it was secure and barring any unforeseen accidents we figured that it would get to our house pretty unscathed. And that's exactly what happened. Not one thing was broken. It also ends up that the weather was horrid and it took us multiple days of stopping and waiting for roads to clear before we could get to our destination. I don't know what I would've done if I had been driving that big truck pulling our car. If you're moving I'm telling you this is the way to go. This company has it together completely. The other thing I forgot to mention is that we didn't have to pay for the gas for the big truck to drive over 1000 miles through mountains like with other truck rentals. Even better was the cost for U-Pack trailer was about $1000 less than the rental of the trucks from the big companies. I highly recommend U-Pack for your next move.

They were late dropping my stuff off and when I called to get an ETA they were once again just as rude. The customer service rep refused to give me direct answers to my questions told me she would call me right back, she didn't. When I called back the other rep started talking very slowly and condescendingly without giving me an answer to my questions and hung up on me when I told her I understood but I needed a real answers.

I told him that there were certain items that had to go and he assured me that everything would fit. They ended up leaving a LOT of things behind that I then had to hire people to clean out at an additional cost. They copied and pasted my signature from the one form that I signed to authorize the move. I was never allowed to read the forms. A move that should have taken 4 hours took 7 hours, which doubled my costs. They took a 90 minute lunch break but only documented a 30 minute lunch break, so they told me. Again, I never saw anything. They stripped the screws on my bed when they were putting it together but claimed it was done previously. Then why not tell me that when you took it apart? They damaged the wall when moving an empty dolly in my new apartment. The dude just shrugged and took a picture "to document it" but they didn't discount the bill, again as far as I know. A move that should have cost around $1000 cost nearly double according to my credit card statement. As a single woman moving alone, it is not a company I would recommend. They are a complete scam.
