I had a tub drain that was draining slowly and had 24-7 come out, I could tell that this was just a drain stopper clogged up with hair. Steve told me the stopper was seemed stuck and he wouldn't be able to do any work unless I approved the estimate which stated "Clear clog with no drain machine" for $288! I questioned them about the service fee. It does not include any service - They should call it an estimate fee. I had a handyman come out and he took out the stopper and cleaned the hair there. It works great. I wouldn't be disappointed if they just took 10 mins to clean out the hair. Jason L from 24-7 Plumbing stated they waived the $89 fee on his response to my review. But that did not happen. I tried calling to confirm but no one has returned my calls. It's not honest to say something here in this forum and not do it.

I was given the check at closing for John Fowler Plumbing. The amount was nearly ten grand. I contacted the company. They came and took the check, in full, prior to rendering any services. I didn't think anything of it, so I let them have the check-assuming that the work would just be completed. The company came to my home to obtain the check. They said they would be out to complete the job; which they had to re-scheduled. This wasn't a problem. I understood. When the plumbing company finally came to do repair they disconnected me from city sewage. Then, expressed this wasn't the job they thought it was. It was then insinuated that either me, my family, or my neighbor need to contribute to the cost of this repair. I felt that the company should take some accountability and shouldn't have quoted for a job they couldn't perform. I also felt that they should be asking the seller to pay as this was part of the agreement for purchase of my home. So, my family and I contacted an attorney. After the attorney was involved, things were able to finally be resolved to have the sewer line replaced. However, after the company left they left my yard a complete mess! There is rocks, clay, debris everywhere as well as a huge dip near my house. I felt that this huge dip of dirt near my house could be problematic. My neighbor was concerned about it as well. So, my neighbor calls John Fowler Plumbing and asks if they will fix the damage they incurred to his yard while performing this project and if they could fill in this dip that he has left next to my home. They immediately say "no, landscaping wasn't part of our agreement." I later received a text and advised that landscaping is not part of the price that was paid and that eventually the rain will settle the dirt after a few months. John Fowler Plumbing, in my opinion, does not care about people. They will take no accountability for any mistakes they may make. I feel that they only care about trying to get as much money from you as they can. If you're not willing to give them several extra thousand dollars in addition to what already quoted to do for a job, they will not treat you well and they will destroy your yard and leave you high and dry. They did not care about the safety conditions of raw sewage in my yard and they will did not make much effort to clean up any feces or toilet paper that was in my yard because of the disconnect that they performed. If you live in Indiana - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE think about hiring literally anyone else. I suggest Second Opinion Plumbing or Seriously 24/7. I had them come out and inspect what was happening at my house. The people at these companies were really sweet and they were willing to work with me to help resolve my issue very promptly!

He made it a priority to come back out, correct the problem, and made sure everything was working properly. It's refreshing to work with someone who not only offers fair and reasonable pricing but also stands behind their work. Great customer service, great communication, and a great overall experience. After neglecting our reverse osmosis water filtration system for five years, we (finally) made an appointment for service. The appointment was the next business day -- Jaden, the technician, obviously does this a LOT and knows all the tricks. He showed up on time, texted when he arrived (as I requested), was courteous and professional, and changed the filters AND the membrane in under half an hour! He also kept his voice quiet, since His Goatness was sleeping, which I really appreciated. Still five-star service!

Recently, I asked them to replace all filters in our RO system, which was overdue. While the technician was pleasant, I was upset that the cost was $368 in total for materials and about 15 minutes of his time. To be fair, that included replacing the membrane, but they have become substantially overpriced based on my research. Between the poor quality of the RO spigot and the high cost, would not recommend.

I liked the fact he could give me a solid estimate via text message as opposed to other companies who wanted to set up an on-site appointment for a tech to "evaluate the job" before giving an estimate. He also sent me his contractor license & insurance information when I asked him about it. Veteran-owned business. An appointment was set for 10:00 am, but we had an unforeseen schedule conflict, so Jimmie kindly flexed to 3:00 pm. He was then kind enough to call to let us know he was running late, but assured us the job would be done that day. Jimmie came through and performed the work as we had agreed upon. His work was excellent and we were very satisfied with the work he performed. My only recommendation is that he add the phrase "Licensed & Insured" to his Yelp! profile because it's one of the first things many people look for in a plumbing tech.
