Honestly, we really didn't know. We had some general ideas but as we've never done a redesign of anything inside the house before we really didn't know. If you're in a similar situation, I HIGHLY recommend you contact Makkan design to get ALL the information you'll need. They were very professional and will help you through the entire process from design to completion. Every step of the way was explained thoroughly and professionally. Once we had a solid blue-print of what we wanted to do, they continued to be completely engaged and open to our fluid inputs and even to changes during the construction. If you ask them to source lighting, tables, chairs, etc, they will give you excellent options and even trials to make sure it fits the decor and what fits for our family. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are thinking of redesigning your kitchen or living room, contact them and you won't regret it. In home visit Amanda told me you need to come to our showroom and pick fabric and everything else. I went to the showroom on January 14, 2026 and selected everything needed for the drapery. Amanda said she would email the final estimate within a couple of days. After 21 days with no response, I had to follow up myself. Her response was that they were "very busy with high volume" and that she would send the estimate within a couple of hours. That explanation didn't add up. If they were that busy, why the estimate could suddenly be produced immediately after I followed up? If you were that busy how could you call me right after you got my follow up text message!!!!! This experience was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Between the poor communication, long delays, and excessive pricing, I lost all trust in this company. I decided not to move forward and do not recommend Fashion Interior to anyone.

However I have requested replacing and repairing a few items that over time need attention It has been 4 years. Refinish/ touch up few wood pieces as well as reupholstering two of our sofas or replacing them. After writing to them, I get a one line response. Sometimes no response. No referrals or help for these. I guess once they design the home....that is it. Covid was used n the one response I received. I don't think their work has stopped due to Covid...so this Leaves Clients to find help on our own. This seems counter productive to the long term beauty of their design work. Disappointed,
