I'd already taken my son to several lakes and even the ocean. He loves water. She charges 600 for four weekly 10- min classes which is triple what is charged elsewhere Money was no object as we thought we were doing the right thing Came first session. It's was a tiny pool with murky water in a dingy room. Kids before us cried nonstop, before hitting the pool, while in the pool and after which was the FIRST red flag we missed. We had already taken our son to poop where kids enjoyed learning how to swim and the process. It was our son to enter the water. He wasn't crying as he had no idea what was about to happen neither did we. Holly Murray ( the psychopathic so- called instructor) took him from me and turned around so we could not see his face. That was the SECOND red flag we missed. 2 minutes in, our 7 month old started vomiting crying. She put the blame on us having fled him an hour before. We had no idea what happened as we could not see what she was doing with him. Come the second session, he was crying nonstop along with other kids before and after his class. Just imagine the distressing scene. My wife and I had had a chat with her and reassured that it's not a big deal and all kids cry and eventually he will learn swimming. ( with an attitude of course) We decided to give the whole thing two weeks( 8 sessions) to see if things change. The second week , Monday I managed to see what see does in the water. Imagine being helpless in the water swallowing water nonstop and going through the feeling of drawing for 10 min. Had I seen that scene I would have stopped the whole thing right away. He was suffering so much that she herself cut the 5th session short ( I have everything recorded and DOCUMENTED) That was the last straw. We went home sensing not being right. I immediately contacted her asked to discontinue the class and get a refund. She replied I can only give you half refund minus a 50 dollar administration fee IF she can find a replacement for our son to fill the slot. If read the article above, you realize that she , as she quotes she receives 100 calls from parents asking for a spot in her classes And yet she cannot find a replacement! Food for thoughts I felt responsible to write this review, as a parent and human being. Don't allow this psychopathic woman , Holly Murray, experiment on your child hoping that he/she might float for 5 seconds while being tortured and going through the dreadful feeling and experience of drawing and swallowing poop water. Is that how we learned how to swim? Do you really want your child to develop lifetime phobias and complexes? I was on phone with the owner Marlene several times before the enrolment and could tell she was really struggled and trying really hard to make this happen especially in the pandemic environment. No need to mention how great the teachers, food and facilities are. My boys are treated like families and are so happy and leaning a lot everyday. They even ask if they can go to the daycare on weekends :)

This daycare is great, the teachers are very nice and try to make each kid feel special. They know everyone's names and all the parents' names. Every evening after picking my daughter up, I receive a few photos of her with the day's activities and a full report, which is so nice to get and is very helpful. The curriculum is awesome, my 1 year old is active throughout the day, and they are so creative with activities: from art to music to crafts even at this young age. They also go for a walk or play in their outside yard most days if the weather permits. The food at the daycare is pretty good, but is somewhat grains heavy, includes a lot of bread, pasta, rice etc. Of course, kids like it. I try to balance it out at home by giving more meat and veggies.

I love a good Paint Nite! What a fun way to hang with your friends and do something other than just…read moredrink and eat. Paint Nite always has tons of different and new art paintings and they have decent distribution around town so you can usually find a painting you like at a pub near you. I have zero artistic talents, but if I can do it then so can you. The instructors are really good about going through the steps with you, keeping you on time, and helping if you encounter problems. It's intimidating to put the first swipe of paint on the pristine canvas, but after you get over that hurdle, it strangely becomes easier and you start to get in the zone and just flow. So if you're afraid to try it because you don't have an artistic bone in your body like me, I say give it a try - you'll be amazed what you can accomplish! And keep reminding yourself that it's just for fun, so you remove the pressure from yourself and just enjoy time with your buddies!

I'm no artist and I was pretty sure this was going to be a case of throwing my money away and ending up with something I'd toss in the nearest dumpster. So, you can imagine how thrilled & surprised I am that I have something that I...actually like. It's not fine art, by any means, but it's actually something i won't be ashamed to hang on my apartment walls. The basic premise of Paint Nite is simple - you congregate in a bar, order yourself some bevvies, and proceed to follow along with painting the picture chosen by your Paint Nite instructor for the night, who also supplies all the painting materials. Our painting was a blossom tree in front of a full moon - perfectly pretty and girly for a bachelorette. We arrived, grabbed seats (we should have arrived earlier or asked them to reserve us a block of seats, as we could not all sit together when we arrived about 5 minutes before it started). And then off we started. I immediately thought I was screwing up (apparently, I can not paint a symetrical circle), but the staff was really good at calming my ruffled feathers and giving me ideas for how to ensure it wound up right by the end of the evening. And indeed it did! My moon is a little un-spherical, and my tree isn't very proportonate, but for my first time ever wielding a paintbrush, I'm pretty pleased - and I can definitely see how paint nites would be a regular event for many people! If I have any critiques, it was that there need to be more seats facing the artist, vs. a 50/50 split of facing and away. I know in this regards they're working with the bar's space, but it does make it more difficult to hear & see what's going on (even though the instructor brings the art work around frequently to let you see the next step). The headset microphone the instructor was wearing also needs a bit of work - it was very, very difficult to understand her through it (it either needs servicing or she needs to wear it further from her mouth). All in all though, it was a fun night & a great bonding activity for me to get to know my sister's friends at. I'd definitely be interested in doing another one!
