Clydebank

Jon and Co brings a salon of city centre quality to Clydebank. I have been a customer since I…read morerealised my natural hair colour of mousy brown was completely rubbish and I could not continue to live my life that way. In fact, bar an 18 month period travelling the world when I was forced to use the nearest, cheapest, hairdresser I could find (the red bob was probably the lowest point. All photographs have been destroyed) I haven't had my hair styled anywhere else for the past ten years. This is because finding a good hairdresser is like finding the Holy Grail, i.e. hard. I choose John as a hairdresser because I trust him and he is confident enough to suggest his own ideas of what may suit me. He also exudes warmth and is always up for chatting about anything and everything, sometimes bringing other customers into the conversation which results in a friendly, easygoing atmosphere. I have also had my hair put up for special occasions by Margaret and Michelle, both did a beautiful job. Be prepared to wait however, as the salon is usually busy

I paid £120 at this hairdresser's a month ago to have a Brazilian blow dry. I had previously had…read morethis treatment on 3 different occasions when living abroad and the effect was fantastic, lasting about 5 months. As I was going abroad again until late November I wanted to have it done again because knew it would not be available to me there. A Brazilian is supposed to stop frizziness and leave hair sleek but I soon noticed that I was getting kinks in my hair and frizziness after the first wash. When I lived in Dubai I could go power walking in humid conditions without any problems to the condition of my hair. I could wash it and leave it to dry and it would be absolutely fine. I can no longer do this. I have resorted to putting velcro rollers in to smooth my hair out. Really disappointing Jon & Co. Its a lot of money not to get the result that is promised and expected.
