First up let me say that this is a 3.5 star review…read more Pretty good salon and very handy for when I am staying at my mum's house. It's also pretty cheap as well. I went there to get my nails done before my wedding, and, more recently for my usual waxing regimen a few weeks ago. Price was excellent - 60 or so fo full leg, bikini, underarm and eyebrow shape. The actual salon was clean and nicely decorated. Only 2 points stop it from getting 4 stars. 1. They used the thin wax (can't remember if it is warm wax or hot wax in the trade but think of the wax with the consistency of honey as opposed to that of chocolate sauce). This is much more painful on sensitive areas than the thcker "chocolate sauce" wax that I usually get in Zen in Edinburgh. 2. It was really really really cold in the salon and so my poor little hairs were totally tensed up, resulting in a more painful experience. I know that it was during a particularly bad cold snap, but it would have been nice not to have been shivering whilst lying exposed, in my undies on the table! All in all though a good wax, and legs still looking good around a month later. No nasty bumps and actually no ingrown hairs either so am very happy. The only salon I have tried in Hamilton and will definitely return

I was given a voucher for Vanity K for Christmas from my boyfriends parents. I had never even heard…read moreof it before, but when I walked into the salon, I was impressed. It is modern and minimal. The exterior is really nice and clean, it looks like an expensive City Centre establishment right on the Uddingston Main Street. The voucher was worth £50, so I decided to go for one of their Clarin's skin soother treatments, which was £56, very pricey but it was Clarins, and I did have a voucher so I only had to pay an extra £6. The treatment was fantastic, so relaxing and soothing! It lasted for about an hour and 20-25 minutes, which is ages for a face treatment. The beautician was lovely, not overly chatty, which was nice because I just wanted to relax and enjoy it! Definitely somewhere I would go if I could afford it more often. Heavy hints are being post-it noted around the house for my Birthday!

I got talked into a Priori Coffeeberry Facial/Peel---I know talks into sounds bad but I promise it's not. I'm not really a facial person as I have sensitive skin and breakout from treatments really easily. The staff assured me this was the perfect treatment for me and they were right. My skin was lovely, smooth and soft and glowing afterwards and I didn't break out at all. I'm a facial convert! Then I had a Shellac manicure. I love a good Shellac mani as they can last me up to 2 weeks when done well. The therapist took her time and 5 days later I still have no chips. The salon is stylish but not overpriced and all the staff are friendly and have your best interests as a client in mind. I can't wait to go back again!
