Owner is Hugh Mcallister and he is a great stylist but I prefer to go to Joanne as I feel that my hair is more trendy when she cuts it. Prices are okay not cheapest for a local hairdressers but a lot cheaper than you would pay for a similar service in a salon in town. Only problem is they have one junior who absolutely drenches you when she washes your hair. She is a really nice girl but prepare to come out soaking wet if she washes your hair.

Alexander Hair is a relatively new salon in Airdrie, located near the train station. They have a…read morecouple of stylists, both of whom are very good at what they do. Inside it's decorated quite basically and could probably do with some sprucing up, which I'm sure they'll get round to when they're a bit more established. But they have everything they need to do a good cut and colour and that's all I need from them. They also do very nice head massages which is always a treat. One thing they could change is that they currently don't take credit or debit cards and I find this annoying.
