This is a smaller shop within a shopping center and there was only one other customer inside when I got in since I tried to catch them as they opened given the fact I didn't have an appointment. So there's a barber with a client on the front chair closest to the entrance and another barber at the second chair and so I'm directed to him. He asks me what I want I explain low fade around the temples and back and take a bit of the top but keep it even and dark (I felt like that was pretty clear) and for further clarity because I know this isn't my usual shop I show him a photo of what I just explained. He nods and says "got it" as if he can pull it off so all good. Fast forward to what I actually received which was an uneven high fade and he took way more off the top than I indicated so basically looked nothing like the photo in addition to affecting my natural wave pattern. The only saving grace is that he managed to do a fairly decent edge up despite making me essentially bald by time he tried to even out the sides of the fade. I certainly won't be returning here but my suggestion would be that if you require anything more intricate than a buzzcut or line up you may want to avoid the barber in the chair closest to the tv or possibly consider alternative shop options.

Well, when you have a toddler its when you get an opportunity. I was pleasantly surprised to have such friendly staff welcome my son and I the minute we entered. The second,my son saw the car you get to sit on while getting your haircut he was eager to get his haircut. My sons haircut looked great and actually resembled the picture. I was extremely pleased with the level of service and the results. Hand sanitizer at the front entrance; ensuring people wear masks and disinfect in between customers. It's a little hard to understand some of the employees sometimes since most have very thick Vietnamese accents. They once gave me a hot towel after my cut, and it stunk a little bit and I didn't enjoy that. They really go the extra mile to make your cut perfect. That can be a good or bad thing. Sometimes they like cutting just a hair too much than I asked for. But not nearly as bad as the Hair Butchery. But don't let these little niggles deter you. They know what you want and do understand what you just said, even if you don't know what they just said about their kid and her birthday party. Or was it a graduation party...? To sum up: This is a great hidden gem and is likely the only hair place dudes need. No appt needed, just walk in and I will bet you'll be seated right away. What I didn't expect was once I told her EXACTLY what I wanted (down to the size trimmer she should use on what portion of my hair), she proceeds to keep cutting and I eventually told her "STOP! ITS FINE. NO MORE." The then proceeded to try and shave my face with the trimmer thing, and that's when it went south. I ended up leaving with a fucking army haircut and half of my face semi-shaven.
