As I turned to leave, she came running after me (I suspect the boss gave the nod) and said they'd be happy to serve me anyway. That small act of kindness set the tone for the whole experience. Inside, the restaurant felt warm and cozy, with the kind of unpretentious atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. They have a modest beer selection both draft and bottle. If you're not in the mood for beer, they have wine and some specialty (spirits) drinks. Don't plan on ordering a pretzel. They call the menu street food and I enjoyed their selection. I would recommend ordering several dishes and sharing. Don't expect a Michelin star experience.
