Jay could easily have taken advantage of my ignorance on the matter in order to make more profit for himself, but instead he chose to be honest and save me money. In addition, he went above and beyond by including an extra item that I asked him to look at mid-job, and my price tag was still one fifth what I was originally expecting it to be. My car is a Mitsubishi Endeavor 2007 so when my brakes did not work properly I request to Jay an estimation for rear and front brakes they answer to me and I made an appointment. Shortly after I left the car to the shop Jay called me with a good news you have left on your car about 2 years so is not a time to replace them. Honestly I was shocked by Jay's honesty and I ask him to check the brake fluid or some leaks somewhere and he replaced the fluid and charge me labour for one hour. So far so good the car is ok now and I want to thank to Jay and Andreea for their nice job.

We found this place absolutely accidentally (it was recommended by our "used car salesman" and we tried it and (go figure the labels and stereotypes) absolutely LOVED it) These people are awesome. They are honest and I being a HUGE sceptic all together and a very particular one when it does to my car (dah) DO trust them. For me, that is as huge of a reference as they come..... Every time I drive away happy. I think it is hard to find a shop you can actually trust, but believe me - these guys are legit and that's why I stick with them. They've ended up saving me money by being honest about the issues my vehicle has had, and that is the kind of service that keeps me coming back. They've always performed work on time, as quoted, and properly. The only complaint I've ever had is when I brought my vehicle there and a customer took my keys by accident. They had to call them up, and go get them from the guy while I waited an extra hour. That totally sucked, but it was on honest mistake and they made up for it by giving me a discount on my next repair. Seriously - if you want an HONEST shop that isn't going to screw you by telling you your car needs something it doesn't or by taking their time to perform an easy task, try these guys out. If my experiences (and those who I've referred) are any indication, you too will be very happy with your experience.

I brought my vehicle to this shop for repairs following an independent out-of-province inspection…read more I was quoted over $2,500 for the work, which included a power steering pump replacement and a wheel alignment. Neither of these items was listed as a failure on the official government inspection report. The shop attempted to inflate the bill with several questionable charges. They EVEN quoted 1.5 hours of labor to install a seat that simply clicks into the seat brackets. When I asked about light bulb repairs, they claimed it could take hours to check the wiring and suggested there might be complex electrical issues. (Without even changing a bulb yet) Additionally, they charged me an $80 inspection fee for doing nothing and a $48 charge for a minor brake adjustment that I never authorized. When I moved my vehicle to an honest shop, I received a quote for the exact same required repairs for $1,400 including the unauthorized repairs this shop was claiming they needed to do. It was still far less than the quote I received at OUR MECHANIC. Troy the manager seemed to be really trying hard to bolster the costs of everything and mentioned over 10 times the fact that I had gotten an out of province inspection done somewhere other than his shop which seemed to be problematic for him. I felt pressured and was repeatedly told I should have used their facility for the inspection and that they would have prioritized my vehicle if I had come to them for the out of province inspection as well. Which led me to get a creeped out feeling that they were predatory and dishonest. Glad I saved myself so much money by going somewhere else.

We had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment here. I now see why. What they do, they do better…read morethan anybody else. They were able to correct a problem that we had with rims and tires on my BMW that no one else was able to solve. Our vehicle runs smooth and true now. I also checked out some of their summer rims and tires and will be back in the spring. BTW they charged less than the 2 previous shops charged in attempting to fix the problem.

I took my car to Kaltire in the Northwest region to get an out of province inspection - they failed…read morethe car, and said that I needed to pay them $3000 to get everything repaired. I took the car to InspectaCAR for a second opinion. They were able to see all the comments that Kaltire had made and all the parts that were failed initially. And they inspected those areas very closely, and disagreed with the comments (e.g. they did not see the leak that Kaltire had claimed to have seen). And guess what? My car passed! InspectaCAR saved me from being scammed $3000, and provided detailed explanations why they thought my car should be passed, and how they disagreed with all the comments that Kaltire had made. It makes sense to take cars to InspectaCAR for Out of Province Inspections because they do not do the repairs, so they have no incentive to scam customers in order to charge thousands of dollars on repairs. I highly recommend this place.

About 18 hours later I'm doing to work and I suddenly hear a scraping sound. I get out and see the tire has become dislodged from the rim. I understand mistakes happen, I understand complications come up. When I was able to speak to a manager they addressed all my concerns and were able to come to a very agreeable offer to correct everything. I think it shows a lot of integrity when a business acts like this. I was turned from a disappointed customer to a very satisfied one.

When I called asking a bunch of questions the gentleman was super nice, patient and helpful; AND he told me to come same day so they could check my brakes 2. They spent 30 min removing my tires and checking things, and then told me it's too early to change my brakes (that I still have another year on them). They could have told me they all need replacement and I'd be none the wiser. Bottom line: stand up place with awesome people. I'll be bringing my business here!
