My doctor wanted me to get an expensive MRI as a likely prelude to surgery. But I had heard about some great work that Meghan has done and thought that maybe I should investigate her approach before I start down the more conventional path of Western medicine. That was a very, very good decision on my part. I met with Meghan about 10 times over eight weeks for acupuncture on my heel and leg. Each session usually lasted about 45-55 minutes. In that time, Meghan got me back on my feet, pain-free and so much more. Not only did she effectively address the pain but she also prescribed a daily routine of specific stretches to help me get to the root of what caused the spur in the first place. And while we were at it, because I had mentioned feeling congested from allergies, she concocted an herbal tea recipe that completely cleared that up as well. Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been around for over 3,000 years. So I probably shouldn't have been surprised that it was so effective. What did NOT surprise me though was how thoughtful and careful and creative Meghan Schmit was in diagnosing my situation and expertly delivering the appropriate remedies. I came back to acupuncture after having a miscarriage to heal and hopefully get pregnant again in February of 2025. Christina talked me through everything - supplements, acupuncture cadence and benefits of cupping and infared sauna. I took the supplements as directed and came in 8x a month, with occasional adjustments to my membership. I will never forget joining in a sound bath at Vitality Wellness in the first month and laying underneath the wall of babies Christina helped bring to this world. I decided I wanted to address my poor posture and the aches and pains it was causing. I had a great assessment with Dr. Danielle Dever, who is absolutely awesome in every way. My PT sessions with Connor were excellent and he very will might be the nicest guy on planet Earth. I started noticing results within just a few weeks with better posture and far less soreness. At one point, Dr. Kelsie Herrera rotated into the practice and took Dr. Dever's place and she was terrific as well. Dr. Aguilar is now at the practice and my first session with him was excellent as well. Rania is a wonderful massage therapist- she's extremely talented as well as kind and funny. I also enjoy seeing Amy, the manager, on the way in and out- she's incredibly friendly and helpful and was kind enough to ask often how I was doing following a family emergency. I cannot recommend this group enough. The office is spa-like and calming and the friendly demeanor of literally everyone makes my office visits like an escape from a busy work and home life. I never felt like my care plan went on any longer than it needed to- when I was ready to reduce from 2x weekly to 1x weekly, then later to 1x monthly visits, it was a decision we made together as I progressed and felt better. Billing and payments were completely seamless, not a single issue. Because they rotate the doctors periodically, some people might prefer going to a practice where they know they will always see the same doctor. However, I wouldn't be concerned about that here- everyone is at the top of their game and the handoffs from doctor to doctor were each seamless and they have all been wonderful people!

I've had active jobs and hobbies most of my years and never had back issues- until recently…read more Refinishing a teak bench almost finished me! The pain was so intense, immobilizing, plus normal OTC pain killers did very little, and there was no position that offered relief. In the past after "over doing" it a little rest I was good to go. After four days of taking it easy it was worse. On recommendation of someone with more chronic back pain I called Center for Musculoskeletal Care and was able to get a appointment to be evaluated by Dr Pys. The evaluation was thorough and used non-invasive technology to get a precise map of issues with my back/spine. The technology also clearly tracks the efficacy of the treatment(s). The practice is a wife / husband team who are as friendly as they are professional. They immediately began a treatment plan (with some homework) to target my issues. I felt some relief on the first visit but with each successive visit (and being "somewhat" diligent with my homework ) I was back to normal very quick. I plan to schedule more sporadic appointments for preventative maintenance as this makes sense to me to track condition and tune-up as needed. Hopefully this keeps my back pain behind me as it were! This occurred every single time I visited and it got to the point where I asked if this was how they treated all of their patients because I do not believe they could be in business if so. I am 30 years old and on my most recent (and last visit) I was essentially yelled at and told that I am no longer welcome unless I schedule twice a week. I was told to not take it "personally" and opted to walk out of the office as I was being yelled at because there's zero reason I should be subjected to this type of behavior as their client. They are unprofessional, rude, and not flexible.

After treatment, the crucial pain around my eyes was completely gone! I walked out of the office smiling and pain free with only one session. I did come back for a follow up appointment and another treatment. I should also mention that I have TMJ on the same side of my face which was also flared up. After another treatment I left again with minimal to no pain. We followed up with one last treatment and I can say that all the pain is gone, even the TMJ pain is gone at this point. She has a warm and welcoming personality and patiently answered all of my questions. While I didn't have any major complaints or discomfort at the time of my visit, I shared the things "wrong with me" per a chiropractor I met with previously. (Left leg shorter than right, C1 or 2 out of alignment). Dr. Christine (and Two Hands) takes a holistic approach to treatment, which I appreciate. I absolutely loved the soft tissue massage/ manipulation to work with the muscles in concert with the joints. She did some work on my ribs (under the scapula), one or two other areas along the spine, and hips. And my right foot, which I broke a few years back. (I didn't even know it was possible to have more mobility on the outer top/side of the foot!) The whole process was really interesting to me.
