Dog Days Daycare Center

Dog Days Daycare Center

Ever since I discovered Dog Days Daycare in Hillsborough Township, my two Miniature Schnauzers have…read morenever looked or felt better. They offer boarding, day care, and grooming, but their grooming services are the real star. I've never walked into a place so impeccably clean--every surface gleams, every tool is spotless, and it immediately puts my mind at ease. I always insist on having my pups groomed by Matt. Watching him work is like witnessing a true artist in action. He'll take a scruffy, stinky little ball of fur and turn it into a show-quality French Poodle cut--seriously, you'd think he was prepping them for a national competition. In just three hours, he calms my two Miniature Schnauzers (who absolutely hate getting groomed), manages their anxiety, and somehow coaxes them into perfect cooperation. When I pick them up, they're perfectly sanitized and coiffed down to every whisker. It's clear that Dog Days Daycare holds itself to the highest standards of cleanliness and care--no stray hairs, no overlooked nicks, just two happy, fresh-smelling pups ready to strut their stuff. That consistency makes it easy to trust them completely. Robin, the owner, is just as wonderful. She's always friendly on the phone, transparent about pricing, and genuinely cares about each dog that comes through the door. Between Robin's warmth and Matt's undeniable talent, I always feel like my babies are in the best hands. The transformation is nothing short of miraculous. My Miniature Schnauzers emerge spicy, sassy, and so proud of their fresh looks that they practically prance their way home. They might dread the grooming appointment, but they live for the attention they get afterward--strutting the neighborhood and charming every passerby. I'll never take my pups anywhere else. If you live in Hillsborough Township and want top-notch grooming (or even boarding and day care), do yourself a favor and book with Dog Days Daycare. Your dog will thank you.

She's tried other daycares in the area as well, and even though the others have cameras and Dog Days doesn't, I still fully trust them with her care and safety. I love how Dog Days separates by how the dogs play (rougher or tamer) instead of by size, and how large the outdoor area is for plenty of running space. She loves the handlers too, and is always happy, socialized, and exhausted after a day at Dog Days.

The Cats Only Inn - My cat

The Cats Only Inn

I needed to board my cat during a 7 day cruise. After comparing options, The Cats Only Inn seemed…read morebest. When I visited, I had a positive impression of the place. I felt they set up everything in a way that made for the best possible outcome for boarding a cat. My cat had a spacious enclosure by a window where she could lounge in the sun. Her enclosure was directly in front of a bird feeder, so she spent a lot of time bird-watching. I was able to bring her a small hut to hide in (and I put my pillow case inside so she could smell the familiar scent of home.) She ate well thanks to their variety of food options (which are included in the price). It's worth noting that my cat isn't the hold-and-cuddle type and has socialization issues. On drop off day, she was clinging to the carrier, hissing and swiping. Staff decided to keep her carrier inside her enclosure until she was ready to come out. I appreciated that they didn't force the cat out before she was ready (and that they stored my carrier for me). I immediately got the impression that this place values both the safety of the cats and the staff. They have been involved with rescue efforts, so staff were not flustered and didn't take my cat's behavior personally. Witnessing that they had the knowledge and patience to deal with a cat like mine put my mind at ease. I also received a couple of text and picture updates on how my cat was doing. When I took my cat home, she popped right out of the carrier and wanted to play. If my cat has any sort of bad experience, she hides for hours or days. Francine was treated with lots of love and kindness during her time at Cats Only Inn. Her stay there also helped to get her a bit more socialized and trusting of new people. Next time I vacation, she will be back for another stay. Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of my best friend.
