Hastily decorated. Clean, but nowhere near sterile. The clerk seemed irritated that I walked in, like I was keeping her from something more important. So, I tried to order fast. I was a little peeved that I very clearly asked for a specific Danish, and she just kind of pretended not to hear me and very quickly threw a different Danish in the bag and gave me an irritated look and said, "Anything else?" Um... They were both huckleberry Danishes, but the one she gave me had like a third as much fruit as the one I specifically requested. Whatever. "You don't have any ham and jalapeno rolls or anything like that, do you?" "I'm sold out of that one, but I do have a bread filled with cream cheese and bacon and jalapenos." I took that. The jalapeno bacon cream cheese bread was amazing. The fillings were pretty standard, but the bread itself was phenomenal. Other reviewers have mentioned that the head chef is a classically trained pastry chef. It really showed in this bread. This bread was as good as the bread from my favorite bakeries in San Francisco. Top tier. I could probably eat a little loaf of it every day. It definitely would have been better heated up a little bit, since the cream cheese was all in a cold block on one side of the bread. But it was still really good. The Danish was decent. It definitely tasted very blueberry-y--- I'm not sure if I can tell the difference between regular blueberries vs huckleberries. Overall, it was about as good as a fresh store-bought Danish from Costco. It didn't necessarily taste home-made to me, but the website states that everything is made home-made and from scratch, so I guess it was. But it tasted kind of commercial. The total was around $9, which I thought was high considering the quality of the Danish and the amount of fillings. But prices are high in 2025... c'est la vie.

Watch out for the hot salsas, they are HOT (in the best way). I got a hot cider from the coffee bar. It had just the right flavor. We got some donuts too. They were a little bland, but that may have just been that batch. We wandered around outside for a bit, the grounds have a great view, just watch out for the flies! As for my rating, I wish I could give them 4.5, maybe 5 stars, but at $2-3 a piece, it's hard for me to give them that extra star. At $2-3, their donuts are not grocery store cheap, but not Portland's Blue Star $3+ too expensive. And I realize this is a farmers market and a small business, but I just feel like $1.25-$1.75 is more appropriate. As for the donuts, they are extrmely good! Unlike Kickstand's poor excuse for donuts, these are light and airy, the appropriate size, and sweet, but not too sweet. The variety and selection are just right. To quote my mother-in-law's text I just received after she stopped by our house on her Vancouver to Boise roadtrip, "We just finished off our to-go donuts.... yum! The chocolate frosting was very good! I think those are some of the best donuts we've ever had! " I forsee a brick and mortar location in their future!

Needless to say, coffee was first priority, but we also were looking for a decent breakfast to keep us going. At 9 am on a Wednesday, we were the only customers in the place. The barista/waitress was very helpful answering questions about the menu, and even gave us a view tips on which waterfalls to visit. Our lattes were very good, but my Breakfast Sandwich with Barbacoa ranks as the absolute best breakfast sandwich I've ever sampled. Wow, such an incredible palate pleaser, and very large for a breakfast sandwich. I just wish I lived a lot closer! We hung out for 90 minutes waiting for the skies to clear before starting our day. Good wi-fi and comfortable surroundings. Definitely worth the stop!
