This is a VERY basic portfolio development step that any real theatre program worth its salt should be making. But no one from the recently graduated classes has anything to show prospective casting directors of their work over the last four years. What a fun, inexpensive way to spend an evening while supporting local theater!…read more Last night we enjoyed Fifth Row Center's production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap presented at The Springs Church on Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch. This was my first Fifth Row Center experience and I have to say that I was quite impressed. This is wonderful community theater and we in the area should be supporting these events. The audience was small and the venue certainly was able to handle a larger crowd. The presentation is for several days so we hope more will attend. It did seem as though most of the audience was comprised of friends and family. Since I am not here to review the play, but the theater company itself, I will stay away from a play review....though we thoroughly enjoyed it! Fifth Row Center is located on Main St. in Flowery Branch where they have classes, rehearsals, etc. and welcome anyone to come in to audition. My only real complaint is the fact that there didn't seem to be too much advertising for this production. Unless we missed anything else, the only way we found out about this was a large sign posted at a nearby busy intersection. I never noticed any newspaper ads or anything else around town. Maybe I don't get out much or maybe it just wasn't there. At any rate, my suggestion would be to advertise the heck out of their productions in hopes of gaining loyal patrons. Our group certainly will now be regular attendees when the production interests us. Best of luck to Fifth Row Center. We hope the community will come out and support this endeavor and help keep it running.

The kids loved venturing out into all of the different areas and playing. It kept them busy the whole time. Truly interactive and enjoyable. We have a 6 month old baby and she crawled around in their small play space for the smaller babies. I will say it did say to remove shoes but lots of bigger kids were just running wild through this space with their shoes on and it was a bit much so we didn't stay playing in there long for fear our little would get trampled. Nice to have an area for babies in theory, but without someone running the area it's just not being respected which again is more on the parents supervision (or lack there of). Overall a good experience and we could come back.

Everyone was so friendly! We went for family day after the fun snow the day before. It was a cold…read moreday, but still many people showed up. We got lucky abs the museum was open and free too. Normally there is an admission fee. Family day is the second Sunday of every month. My kids did a scavenger hunt, went through the exhibits, outside to the cabins, watched the live gun show, and enjoyed the family activities in the hall. The staff dressed up and were so fun and nice. My daughter enjoyed the lady who taught them a dance. We loved dressing up in clothes from the colonal times. Plenty of seating at their outdoor amphitheater. Exhibits have many interactive stations for kids. Our visit superceded my expectations. They have their own parking lot as well. Btw, I wasn't sure if they would be open because of the snow, so I sent a message on Instagram, not expecting a reply the day, but I got a reply in less than five minutes. I was over the moon. I was so hesitant to drive the hour while uncertain if they were going to be open or not, so that was a huge relief when I got a response! That's great representation!

Danielle has her teaching style down to a "T" because every recital I've been too has little musicians who truly enjoy playing and don't see it as chore. I think that is extremely telling of her ability as a teacher to encourage, motivate, and challenge her students. Studio is part of a historic building in downtown Gainesville and renders itself to a more cozy feeling which is not intimidating for the beginner and warm and inviting for the more experienced. Grab a book or your laptop and just come and sit. The gazebo is spacious enough but the real star of the show is going to be that venue/wine drinking space. Incredible woodwork, a stacked stone fireplace and of course more gorgeous views. People won't ever want to leave when that opens. Oh and of course they have wine. Really good wine. At the time of our visit they had 14 that ran the range of sweet to dry and white to red. Currently I believe they sell charcuterie as a food option.
