What a fun, inexpensive way to spend an evening while supporting local theater!…read more Last night we enjoyed Fifth Row Center's production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap presented at The Springs Church on Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch. This was my first Fifth Row Center experience and I have to say that I was quite impressed. This is wonderful community theater and we in the area should be supporting these events. The audience was small and the venue certainly was able to handle a larger crowd. The presentation is for several days so we hope more will attend. It did seem as though most of the audience was comprised of friends and family. Since I am not here to review the play, but the theater company itself, I will stay away from a play review....though we thoroughly enjoyed it! Fifth Row Center is located on Main St. in Flowery Branch where they have classes, rehearsals, etc. and welcome anyone to come in to audition. My only real complaint is the fact that there didn't seem to be too much advertising for this production. Unless we missed anything else, the only way we found out about this was a large sign posted at a nearby busy intersection. I never noticed any newspaper ads or anything else around town. Maybe I don't get out much or maybe it just wasn't there. At any rate, my suggestion would be to advertise the heck out of their productions in hopes of gaining loyal patrons. Our group certainly will now be regular attendees when the production interests us. Best of luck to Fifth Row Center. We hope the community will come out and support this endeavor and help keep it running.

Tickets were selling out fast so the best place to get seats for everyone together was at the balcony. The ticket process, once you buy from online or at the box office beside it, is quick and there are lots of staff (all volunteers) there to assist you in finding your seats! For refreshments, they sell beer, wine, sodas, hot chocolate, tea, and cider The view from the balcony wasn't the greatest for me because I'm a little short, but this really was only a major issue when the characters were using the aisle or at the top of the stage. I love how they integrate their stage crew into the show, and how friendly everyone is. They are always looking for volunteers!

I think that is extremely telling of her ability as a teacher to encourage, motivate, and challenge her students. Studio is part of a historic building in downtown Gainesville and renders itself to a more cozy feeling which is not intimidating for the beginner and warm and inviting for the more experienced. We love the instructors and my daughter feels very loyal to the school and staff. The instructors are knowledgeable and warm and truly want your child to do their best. Their waiting room is also lovely, with cozy couches and a Keurig machine so families who are waiting for their children in lessons have a comfortable place to chill out.

A Sunday well spent with my family on the last day of the Cumming Country Fair & Festival! This was…read moremy first time attending, and was actually their 30th year, but certainly will not be the last time I visit. It's an annual event, and one of the largest events held at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Family friendly with tons of attractions including games, rides, a petting zoo, and lots of yummy food and drink vendors. Admission was $10, and they do offer deals for unlimited rides and such depending on your plan for your visit. Kiddos 10 and under get in for free which is nice. I enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger and fries, and of course, had to get a frozen lemonade. The funnel cake was calling my name but I ended up deciding to skip it as line was long and I knew I didn't need the extra sugar. I am regretting not enjoying a caramel apple, however! We played a few staple carnival games, and just enjoyed walking around the grounds and taking in all there was to offer. Next year (if I'm not pregnant again), I will definitely try out a few rides!
