Burger Tuesdays here are the best. You honestly can't beat their 2 for 1 combo. I usually get the Zombie Burger and some gravy for my French fries. The servers are usually always nice too. They have a couple pool tables and that golf game too which is kinda cool. read more

My favourite place in London hands down is the Alibi roadhouse. Their nacho extreme platter is just absolutely awesome. Their chicken wings are second to none. On this particular visit I ordered a messy burger with a side of sweet potato fries. It did not disappoint. Taste was fabulous and without a doubt I will return again and again! Tonight my mom and decided to finally try this pub as patios have just opened up. We both wore masks to enter the establishment. There was a sign saying please wait for a server to seat you. A young lady came out and I asked for two on the patio. She practically spat out the rudest words " do we look busy to you?" I was so taken aback I thought she couldn't hear me through my mask. I said i beg your pardon? She then said sit wherever. Meanwhile the sign clearly states to wait. There were two separate patios, no arrows on floor. Very confusing. So I asked where the washroom was so I could wash my hands. AFTER I wash my hands then she tells us we have sign in. Saying it's a provincial law. Which is only in place in TO. We promptly left clearly this young lady doesn't care for customers. Won't be back either.. RUDE, I suggest if you don't like your job do something else! read more

The Alibi has been doing it's thing for almost 30 years -- so they're certainly doing something right. For starters, this is not a high-end restaurant - think a group of students next to a baseball team and you're heading the right direction - maybe with a couple of regulars at the bar for good measure. The interior is all or mostly wood, with sports memorabilia and TVs everywhere - but to clasify it as a sports bar isn't exactly right. It's a greasy-spoon type place but the food is almost always surprisingly good. Think wings and pizza and mini-jugs of beer on special and chances are you can almost picture the place. They have a small patio, which overlooks the parking lot and Oxford Street - not ideal but does allow for outdoor eating when the weather permits. Their selections of beer is good, with everything from the standards to some craft beers. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food portions are large and the prices more than fair. They are one of few reamining places that have pool tables and the place can be hit-or-miss, in that when I go it is often quite busy or quite empty. You'll never know exactly what you'll find. it often comes to mind when I'm looking for a place for a small group to meet last minute. Everyone can normally find something to eat and drink and the number of TVs give you something to watch should things get boring. We were heading home after spending the afternoon in Gibbons Park, walking the dog and so on, and decided to stop at Alibi Roadhouse to get some take out for Sunday dinner. We didn't call ahead or anything, but rather just pulled into the parking lot and parked in front of the door. I was just about to go to the website on my phone to check their menu when a very lovely young woman came out and asked if we were picking up a called in order. I said no, but was about to check the website for their menu. She went inside and grabbed a menu for us to look at instead. My wife had the southwest salad with chicken breast, and I asked for the fish and chips, but was told they don't have any at the moment, due to the current Covid crisis. Fair enough, so I ordered the steakhouse burger with fries and gravy on the side. After about 15 minutes or so, she brought it out to us and we took it home to enjoy. Gotta say, that burger was huge, and very good. The fries were good and the gravy was awesome. My wife was surprised at how big the Southwest salad was, and decided to save half for tomorrow. She really enjoyed it as well. There was even a nice little note inside the package thanking us for our support. This is a tough time for everyone, and when we can do take out, it's nice to support local people and have a good experience like this. We went to Alibi after our Dodgeball Game for the "cheap wings" on Mondays. Atmosphere is your typical pub, nothing to rave about. Lots of space to sit, a bunch of pool tables and it looks like the patio is fairly large (my visit was in March). Food was fantastic. The wings were a decent size and hot when they arrived to the table. We also ordered the poutine which was delicious. The fries were large and perfectly cooked. The only downside was shredded cheese instead of curds. The service was okay. They only had one server for the entire restaurant and it wasn't slow by any means. While our orders were correct she disappeared after bringing us our bills and didn't return with a debit machine for 15 minutes despite our efforts to wave her over. Overall good food and a pretty chill atmosphere. Service could've been better though. read more

Alibi is great! You get big portions for a good price. The sandwiches are big and the lasagna is amazing! They aren't too buys and we won a free t-shirt on super bowl sunday. The staff is nice. The only thing is i things os that it was awkward driving into the parking lot due to the location. Overall its a good place to come chill and enjoy good food. I don't care what anybody says about Alibi's, I love it! It's a fantastic breakfast place, never too crowded, decent food, amazing portions, and GREAT prices. Especially when you go with one of their buy one get one free (+2 drink purchases) coupons that are everywhere in the Western booklets. Food quality is what you'd expect of typical pub hangover food, but the burgers are surprisingly good and coffee is decent. As for customer service, my friends and I all love the guy with the glasses that's always there working on the weekends. Super friendly, quick and attentive. You, sir, are the real MVP. read more

Alibi is pretty much what it sounds like: a big, un-fancy bar for the beer, pool, and comfort food crowd. There's lots of parking, it's in a strip mall, but it's not genuinely scummy like you'd expect of a real backwoods roadhouse (no chicken-wire, or sawdust on the floor, that sort of thing). They give out coupons to UWO students. I was here on a Tuesday early in the morning, and it was pretty dead. But that didn't stop drunken me and a drunken friend from splitting their huge platter of greasy foodstuffs: fries, onion rings, potato skins, cheese sticks, etc., all for about $13. And the location is surprisingly good for flagging down cabs cruising down Oxford Street. read more

A usual late night greasy spoon open late for those inebriated university student stragglers in the area. However it's pretty darn good and priced right. Service is generally good, selection is great, portion sizes on the large side. Lots of TVs to satisfy even the most diehard sports fans. Pool tables to enjoy with a group. Went here for dinner on a Saturday. Atmosphere wise its different than most places, they have pool tables which is rare to see, other customers were not students. Prices seemed on par with most similar quality restaurants. Ordered chicken wings, fries, and nachos. Nachos were a little burned (not sure if that is on purpose) however were a little lacking in toppings, fries were fine nothing special but not bad either, and the chicken wings were overly breaded however the sauce was good. Overall, not a place I would highly recommend, but not the worst place to visit either. read more

I live around the corner so this is a staple for me. Great staff, bad beer selection, and old school bar food. I've found a few gems in the food so I keep walking over. I would love to see a better menu, but it's a busy bar so I don't see much change coming. read more
