The only downside is that this is a cash only business and I wasn't aware of this which caused some stress during check out time - but now I know! Take lots of cash kids! Marites rocks!

My review for Nika is long overdue. I was recommended to her by the woman who does my brows (Brows by Christi - check her out!). I did my research and every review mentioned how great Nika was, how their skin was glowing and the positive changes in skin texture + appearance. I figured that these people couldn't be wrong if she had 5 stars. I had my fourth facial with Nika today. I had the fire and ice facial, which truly left me with an off the charts glow. My skin is radiant, clear, smooth, and even looks tighter! I really enjoy my facials with Nika. She is so knowledgeable about skincare and clearly has a passion and the talent for it. She has gentle hands, but can give you one hell of a shoulder rub and scalp massage! Every single time I leave Nika's studio, I feel like my skin has been transformed. I called and they said they'd cancel it. Then later they sent me a reminder for my appointment so I texted the text line (it was after hours at that point) to make sure they actually canceled it, they didn't. Short story, they harassed me at work the next day MULTIPLE times, about not having it on file that I canceled, had the nerve to ask me for screen shots of my call log to prove I called etc, I said sure! Then they went silent for several hours, then emailed me saying they were going to "wave the cancelation fee" WHAT CANCELLATION FEE?! I literally canceled more than 24 hours in advance therefor there was no cancellation fee to wave?? They have the worst customer service, so glad I didn't give my money to a place with such horrible organization and customer service! Don't let them scam you!

When I walked in, I was barely greeted, which I didn't mind too much. However, I ended up waiting over 20 minutes because the owner chose to take a girl who came in after me simply because she knew her. I then had to continue waiting while they chatted. When it was finally my turn, the owner quickly directed me to the other woman doing brows instead of taking me herself. I'm assuming she realized how that looked after having me sit there while she took someone who arrived later. Another concern I had was that the scissors were not cleaned between clients. Also, the woman doing my brows applied rose water to my face without asking first. I have sensitive skin and always decline having products applied to my face, so this caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. My previous brow artist always asked before putting anything on my skin. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Being dismissive of customers and disrespectful of their time, especially as the owner, is not something I would expect. It's a shame because I was genuinely excited to try this place, but I won't be returning or recommending this place ever.
