I had a very disappointing experience at Routine, especially because I had been genuinely so excited to see Anush and had a lot of confidence in her work based on what I had seen online. I waited months for my initial appointment and was rescheduled twice. I completely understand that things come up, so I was still happy to make the drive from San Diego. At my first appointment, I had my previous lip filler dissolved, and that experience went well. The office was also very accommodating in getting me back in two weeks later for my refill. For my refill appointment, I drove approximately seven hours round trip for an appointment that lasted around 20 minutes. During the appointment, my upper lip began to bruise, so Anush decided to stop and have me return two weeks later for a follow up. About a week after the refill, I contacted the office because my smile looked noticeably uneven. One side of my lower lip was much fuller, while the other side appeared to droop. I was told that filler needed two weeks to settle, which I understood. At my follow-up, I brought up the asymmetry again, and Anush thought it might be related to Botox I had received in my chin possibly affecting a muscle. I trusted that explanation and hoped it would improve with time. Unfortunately, three months later, it had not improved. My smile was still noticeably asymmetrical, I had a large, visible lump of filler on one side of my lower lip, and the opposite side continued to droop. It affected my confidence to the point that I was uncomfortable smiling and even found myself focusing on my lips whenever I was on FaceTime or recorded a video. I understand that ideally I should have returned to Anush to have the issue corrected. However, by that point I no longer felt confident in the work. Returning would also have meant taking additional time off work and making multiple 6-8 hour round trips for dissolving, healing, refilling, and potentially another follow-up. I ultimately chose to have my lips dissolved elsewhere and paid additional money to correct the issue. Afterward, I reached out to Anush, explained what had happened, and asked whether a partial refund of my $1,400 service could be considered given the circumstances. I was told that she did not feel anything had been done incorrectly and that she thought my lips "look wonderful," and that being unhappy with the result did not guarantee a refund. I respect that providers cannot guarantee that every patient will love every cosmetic result. However, I don't consider visible asymmetry, drooping, and a significant lump of filler to be simply a matter of personal preference. I was especially disappointed that my concerns were dismissed when the asymmetry was clearly visible in photos. I went into this experience genuinely excited and with a great deal of trust in Anush's work, which is why the outcome and response were so disappointing. My experience was very different from what I expected based on what I had seen on social media. I ultimately spent additional money elsewhere to have the filler dissolved and corrected. I would encourage anyone considering cosmetic work to look beyond social media results, ask questions about how complications or unsatisfactory outcomes are handled, and make the decision that feels right for them. read more

I have been seeing Bianca at Routine for a year now. I have had Botox, and a set of micro-needling appointments. First off, your skin is only as good as what you do to help it. So if you're doing all these treatments and not changing your routine or doing anything at all you won't see results. Along with these treatments she has recommended certain changes to my routine, or products I should add in and I have done so. Consistency is key, and as far as I'm concerned my skin hasn't looked better.
