Okay I wasn't going to leave a poor review for this company but they have not followed through with…read morewhat they have promised. I've had my fence and gate installed for about 9 months. They came and installed it at two separate times. I will say after initial installation both times I was fairly satisfied. I say fairly because there were aspects about it that seemed rushed. But I digress. This post is to really speak on the fact that they did not hold up to their workmanship year warranty. There were two times I had some issues with the quality of the sliding gate. The first issue stemmed from the original gate being broken due to how the gate was closing. Something about how the gate was aligned was off and would cause the gate to close wrong causing the vinyl to crack pretty bad and leave sharp pieces open for anyone opening the gate to cut themselves on. I called the owner about the issue. They did come out and fix it but it took near a month (maybe longer) for them to come out and fix. So far no issue with it but we have to be super careful how we close the gate . The second time the most recent time I called him was due to the metal railing on top off the sliding gate has almost completely come off. This metal piece helps to hold the whole thing together. When I texted him he tells me that they no longer install gates and I can just put a screw in it. I was shocked by his reply because I was not asking him to install anything. I was asking him to fix an issue that would be covered up the year workmanship warranty offered to us under contract. However, I figured if it's just a screw maybe I can do it. I went to assess and it's not just a screw it's a special type of screw and you have to drill through metal. I'm sure i could rent the tool to do all of this but I shouldn't have to do that. Another issues is the amount of rust that has accumulated on every single metal piece applied to the sliding gate. It doesn't look nice and now I have to keep painting it it using rust cleaner to take it off. I'm pretty upset and shocked because the owner seemed petty honest and pleasant to work with when we were giving him work. Not so great at coming through and ensuring his quality of work. Since he won't respond to my texts messages I assume he has no intention on fixing the issue. If he does (and you are reading this) I would be more than happy to discuss why you haven't responded in and effort to fix this.
