I randomly checked Apple Maps, and this was the closest nail place from where I was at the time. I called them, and I got lucky enough to be booked in especially since I was just 5 minutes away. My first impression is that this place is very clean. I love the high windows that bring in natural light. It's a very relaxing and luxurious feeling. Someone greeted me, and I let them know I called 5 mins ago for a gel pedicure. They asked me what color I'd like, and I answered white. I felt like I would be an easy enough client. I was led to the back, and another lady started her work on my hideous toes. During the prep for nails, I felt very taken care of. I was asked to pay early (probably because they close in about an hour), and I was perfectly fine with that. Personally, I think there's nothing wrong with that. As long as you have the money to pay, it's not a big deal. Even after I paid, I still had very great service. The lady doing the prep still massaged me nicely, and it didn't feel like she was trying to rush! That's the part I appreciated the most. My final impression is that this place actually cares about making you feel good and look good. After my service, I just walked out the door (since I already paid earlier). Love Alexus Nail Bar! I've gotten dip manicures, gel manicures and gel pedis. Everyone does a great, clean job and are friendly. They aren't pushy or trying to upsell services. Prices are slightly more expensive but each of my manicures have lasted 3 weeks to almost one full month, worth it in my opinion. I like that they take appointment requests through text message. First COVID-19 experience was AMAZING! I went with my mother for a pedicure and gel manicure. They had a lot of options for the colors to choose from and each nail technician was even able to get the closest matching shades for the gel mani. Great and friendly service from beginning to end. We were greeted by the receptionist and she helped us get situated since it was our first time there. She was able to create our accounts with the colors we selected so if we want we could get the same nail techs or use previous nail colors in the future. Everyone was wearing masks and proper sanitation was observed so if you are worried about that, this salon is definitely doing everything to keep EVERYONE safe. Loved it. The woman that did my pedicure was AMAZING! Wish I would have gotten her name as I would ask for her every time.

Was just ripped off!!!! I told the girl on the phone that my daughter wanted to do gel mani/pedi and some kind of tip to add length to her nails. Very simple. THEN I told the girl doing her nails the same thing!!! I now told two people what we wanted. My daughter calls me on her cell phone as I was waiting outside with my son and says mom they're just painting my nails, they're not putting tips on. I tell the girl on the phone, I told you to add length, to put a tip and to paint with gel. "Okay we will fix it". Grand total.......$160 My jaw dropped, I questioned the girl how a gel mani/pedi with tips added could be $160. Y'all they charged me for the mani they started before I had to correct them. She said "I misunderstood you and the girl started the manicure so I had to add that on to the charge". Wow!!!! You should never charge customers for your mistake. Not only that... just the gel mani with tips was $80.... Plus the manicure I had to pay for and then gel pedi. Ripoff!!!!!! I was fuming for over an hour after and decided to just pay it because I didn't want to make a scene in the store! So I'm here to write an honest review instead! Shame on you guys! ALSO.... When I was sitting in the waiting area.. the girl that finished with a customer said to the girl at the register... the color of the polish she just used was called "rich girl"... stereotyping and ripping people off because you're in a boujie area! I was referred to this salon by a long time customer. I just moved to the area. The appointment was made yesterday for 6:00pm today. I get to the salon at 5:50 to someone telling me I arrived at the wrong time. They told me they tried to call, but did not have my number. I'm a principal and had to interview a potential assistant principal after school. I never would have booked an appointment for 5:15 because I would not have made the appointment. As I am standing in the salon, the receptionist is whispering to different employees about me. The woman she was speaking to started to give me dirty looks because I supposedly missed my appt. I told the receptionist that I felt uncomfortable and told her that I was going to leave. She assured me that everything was okay, but she kept walking around whispering about me while the employees were still giving me dirty looks. I left and went to a different salon. I certainly do not recommend Alexus Nail Bar to anyone. I would hate to think that I was being shunned because I was dressed in a sweat shirt and joggers. read more

This was my first time at Lex's Lounge. I have driven by it many times on my way to work. I honestly thought it was just a nail salon--which they have in part of the salon. When I walked it there was a nice host desk (not sure what that is called at a salon). There were several chairs set up to wait. Lori was the hairstylist that I scheduled with. She was great! The hair washing stations are in the back of the salon. I appreciated that they were separated by barriers. It felt very safe. The stations were also pretty separated from eachother. I appreciate that even during more normal times. Overall, I would recommend this salon. read more

I made an appointment on Saturday about an hour before I went in to Alexus Nail Bar for a mani/pedi. I loved the decor and setup of the salon. However, since it was busy it was a little confusing as to who was doing what. Eventually I was brought over to the table for my mani. Great service and nice selection of polishes. I have natural nails so I use the regular polish (no gel). You get to choose which scent of lotion with your mani/pedi. I thought that was a small but nice option. I was then whisked away to the massage chair for my pedicure. Great job, I was thoroughly pleased. The man doing my pedicure was SLIGHTLY rough scrubbing and very pleasant. They don't talk in other languages abruptly in front of customers like many traditional salons do. Overall a very pleasant atmosphere and experience, BUT a little pricey ($50 mani/pedi). I guess you get what you pay for. I'd definitely go back, but not on a regular basis per cost. I got my mani/pedi on Saturday. It's now Monday and there's no chipping! :) I even did the dishes a few times!! read more

I walked in close to 5 on a weekday and was politely accommodated. I only had to wait about 15 minutes. The salon is very pretty. Crystal light fixtures, velvet and leather chairs, etc. The girl at the front desk asked what type of scented lotion I would like for my pedicure massage. Choices included mango, eucalyptus mint, lemon, lemongrass ginger, and maybe more. The massage/pedicure chairs are nice. They gladly let my little one sit in the chair next to me too. They have tvs and magazines for entertainment. My pedicurist was very nice and chatted with me and my little guy. She gave a good massage and the yummy smelling lotion was lovely. They wrapped my feet in hot towels and polished them nicely. There are snacks and little cups for your pleasure in the waiting area. They have chocolate chips and trail mix. The added touches including snacks, beautiful ambiance and scented lotion choice will cost you a bit more. The pedicure was $30. Certainly much nicer atmosphere than the average corner nail shop though. I had a nice experience and would go again. read more

I called Alexus nail bar yesterday at about 9:30, they gladly gave me their pricing and encouraged me to make an appointment. I did, when I walked in about 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, it was packed.... People sitting waiting, a client at nearly every station. I assumed I was going to have to at least wait till my appointment time. The very friendly girl at the front desk, asked my name, greeted me with a smile and said it would just be a moment. I used that time to pick a color, they have a great selection of opi and other brands. Before I made my final selection (so maybe 2-3 minutes) she said my chair was ready. I was shocked! Remember this place was packed!!! And they still got me in at my appointment time! Eeeeek, yay! Everything was perfect, the very nice lady did a wonderful job on my pedicure, she was social and interactive. She takes the time needed to access you hair texture, the way it falls and what style will make you look fabulous for the life of the cut. I have a lot of grey and it really looks like I had it frosted. She never ever tried to convince me to add color rather told me not too.
