He was super nervous and has been putting it off for years. After seeing reviews on Yelp, I picked this place for him and I'm glad I did. He said that the offices were clean and well kept and the registration process was quick and easy. All the staff were really friendly and the room that he was in was like really calming. Dr. Lawyer was playing lo-fi music in the background which was really nice. He said that the room didn't look or feel sterile and medical like he expected. It was like his actual "office" with like wood and a super nice desk and it just made him feel calm. Overall great experience and he is now a regular client. And now, it's my turn to make an appointment!!!

After many experiences with chiropractic care over the last few decades, I feel that I can say with…read moresome measure of confidence that Active Edge Chiropractic & Functional Medicine is something of a "Unicorn" in the industry. Both Dr Hensel and Craner are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and I really appreciate how they have made me aware of many of the options available to me at their practice, but have yet to pressure me into anything I might not be comfortable with trying. Already, I have discovered many new therapies within the scope of Chiropractic care that I did not even know existed (for instance- Dr Craner successfully relieved some pain/ pressure in my abdomen that I didn't even realize was being caused by a hernia, and don't even get me started on the pressure points inside the mouth- mind blown by how affective her adjustments have been!! It was akin to taking a muscle relaxer without the side effects , immediately after the adjustment.). This is the first time I have felt trusting enough of a Chiropractor to allow them to adjust my neck- thanks again Dr Craner, and Dr Hensel is also very knowledgeable about functional medicine, (even recommended some exploration of how trauma is carried in the body, which I appreciate in regard to feeling heard and seen by a practitioner). It is rare for me to justify paying a practitioner beyond what my insurance company deems coverage, but I consider it WELL worth the cost for my overall well-being.

I took my granddaughter here and for her to say that she not only felt amazing but believed Dr Craner was the person to help her achieve wellness and help her realize it is possible. I highly recommend if you are looking to partner with a great Team to achieve wellness.

Upper Arlington Family Chiropractic - A beautiful, fall day at the office

This is a review that was a long time coming, but in a good way, becasue my recovery was a process…read morethat took nearly a year, and Upper Arlington Family Chiropractic was an instrumental part of my healing process. In early March I suffered a significant sinus infection that migrated to my ears, and, unfortunately, developed a slight tinnitus in my right ear due to the damage of swelling. My primary caregivers and ENT specialists were frankly baffled as nothing intrinsically was wrong, and a later MRI bore that out: whatever did the damage left no tangible trace other than the ringing, and a slight misalignment/wearing of my TMJ. When you fall between the cracks of primary care and specialized medicine's ability to readily heal you, you find yourself bereft of options and of hope. It sucks the life out of you. Nothing that once gave you joy does so any longer. It's a vicious spiral of despair. Especially when no one understands your pain or difficulty. After months and thousands of dollars of 2nd opinions and alternative medicine options, I called UA Family Chiro and they fit me into their schedule. Dr. Schram and his team treated my issue with seriousness and respect, and Dr. Schram's holistic and complete approach to treating not just the issue at hand but the individual experiencing it is a hallmark of how they treat their patients. It was a long process to get to where I am now. I may never fully be back to where I was due to the esoteric nature of how I was injured. But the treatment I received at Upper Arlington Family Chiropractic helped me find myself again. I felt better. Gradually. Especially with shared effort on my part using their guidance and advice. I'm still recovering, but I now I have the ability to meet the challenges I face with confidence and a renewed vigor of the person I was before the issues began. For those of you that understand that kind of journey, you also understand what kind of profound gift that is. They will always be a permanent part of my wellness going forward, and I value them like family. I highly endorse this practice, and encourage you and your loved ones to go there as well.

    The Joint Chiropractic

I haven't had chiropractic care for a while now. Last time I did, insurance paid for all of it -…read moreeven some massage. Now, I didn't even check as I'm trying not to max out my deductible and OOP spending this year - as I've done too many years in the past. Which is why I avoided going the traditional route - through my GP for an xray, PT and finally an MRI. I looked for a Groupon like I've used in the past. I just didn't find anything like what I was looking for - a diagnostic xray, consult and adjustment. Instead, looking on Yelp I found this Joint Connection offering - near my house which is important. I understood the concept - membership for ongoing treatment. I read the reviews which were mostly very good and also checked out the pricing. I made an appointment for the $29 visit as my back hurt so bad, I had to do SOMETHING. I was losing sleep with the pain and my exercise routine was suffering. I walked in and saw greeted right away. I filled out a questionnaire about my medical history and current issues. While doing so, others came in, checked in and were quickly seen and adjusted by the doc. When it was my turn, the doc asked me some questions and quickly had me on the table. I was familiar with the adjustments he did and while I was afraid it would really hurt and aggravate my pain, it wasn't bad and I did feel a little relief afterwards. Mostly importantly, I found out the cause of my pain had been a change in sleep positions about 6 months ago. That coincided with the timing the pain started and the location of where it was. The doc suggested a sleep position which I really appreciated. I spoke to the scheduler after seeing the doc and she talked through the options moving forward. They were consistent with what I'd seen on line. I was hesitant to sign up right there and then given the 2 month minimum membership term. However, I quickly did the math and knew that it was cheaper to invest this money that start again with my GP. The doc added 2 visits for the 1st month so I could come twice a week for the first 2 weeks. I had started on a Friday - so I returned the following week on Monday and Thursday. I'll do that again next week. The only think I would change - I like the one doc I saw one of the visits better than the other. I have to figure out their schedules so I can come when the preferred doc is doing the adjustments. So far, I'm still having pain and haven't been able to sleep in the suggested position. However, I've mostly avoided the position that caused the problem. Most days I feel better - unfortunately, today was not one of those days. I have found that an ice pack on my back (which I had not been doing) really helps. Highly recommend you give this a try. It kinds of reminds me of Urban Acupuncture - which makes non-traditional treatment affordable for the regular person.
