After many experiences with chiropractic care over the last few decades, I feel that I can say with some measure of confidence that Active Edge Chiropractic & Functional Medicine is something of a "Unicorn" in the industry. Both Dr Hensel and Craner are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and I really appreciate how they have made me aware of many of the options available to me at their practice, but have yet to pressure me into anything I might not be comfortable with trying. Already, I have discovered many new therapies within the scope of Chiropractic care that I did not even know existed (for instance- Dr Craner successfully relieved some pain/ pressure in my abdomen that I didn't even realize was being caused by a hernia, and don't even get me started on the pressure points inside the mouth- mind blown by how affective her adjustments have been!! It was akin to taking a muscle relaxer without the side effects , immediately after the adjustment.). This is the first time I have felt trusting enough of a Chiropractor to allow them to adjust my neck- thanks again Dr Craner, and Dr Hensel is also very knowledgeable about functional medicine, (even recommended some exploration of how trauma is carried in the body, which I appreciate in regard to feeling heard and seen by a practitioner). It is rare for me to justify paying a practitioner beyond what my insurance company deems coverage, but I consider it WELL worth the cost for my overall well-being. read more

I had Reiki healing session. The most powerful healing techniques I've ever had. I was planing to wait a week to write a review. By then, I'll be able to say what I think. However, I felt I would be so selfish to keep this experience for only myself. It is literarily healing. I am so calm after. She immediately found the area where I need more healing. Katharine Daniels is so knowledgable. She definitely knows what she is doing. From my experience, I recommend you to go home and relax for the rest of night or day. Been going to Chiropractic for 10+ years. Moved to Ohio from Georgia. Called to become a new patient - wanted to do the free consultation. Had an opening the next day - Yay. Husband is in pain - so I wanted to get it right away. Needed a credit card to reserve a free consultation! After giving credit card and reserving I was told they don't accept our insurance (the only accept 1 insurance). After speaking to my husband we decided that we want to find a chiropractor that takes our insurance. So I called to cancel and it is within 24 hours so I was told if I don't come that I have to pay $40 for a cancellation fee. For a free 15 min consultation? For something you can get at any seminar for free? Really? Unbelievable. I would avoid trying this doctor out at all costs - they are not in this to help anyone. read more

It was through word of mouth that I heard about Dr Hansel after I suffered an injury. I've been going to various chiropractors for over 30 years and my previous chiropractor was unable to fit me into her schedule. I want to let you know that this is the most awesome experience in healing that I have ever had! When I went into the office, I was in extreme pain. I could barely walk and my right foot was inundated with plantar fasciitis. They asked me if I was willing to commit to my health. I had let it slide so far that I didn't think I could ever feel good again. They encouraged me to think about it and while I was there Dr Crainer did some small adjustments and worked in the area of my feet and my upper back. I am telling you that I walked out of there with just a smidgen less pain, but it meant the world to me! For the past couple of years I have gone to my annual checkups and talked about the swelling in my legs and the pain in my feet I was just supposed to chalk that up to getting old! After approximately 5 weeks, and following the instructions of my functional medicine miracle workers, I am feeling so much better. The pain in my right foot is almost gone!
