I emailed her and over the course of a few months decided to try some lessons with her. I have had lessons before and some were helpful, and others, not so much. Im currently a 17 handicap senior golfer but im fighting pretty hard to hold back the tide of age, stiffness, loss of strength and stamina. I felt that getting a swing coach and instructor would be beneficial and help the swings and putts be more productive even with my overall performance declining. First of all, Morgan spent quite a bit of time talking and assessing my game. She asked what my expectations are and what goals i hoped to reach. I felt very comfortable right away. There was no "boot camp, drill instructor" personality and Morgan is a very good communicator. She looked at my swing using a 5 iron and made a few suggestions that made a big difference in my swing plane and club head position. Now, im already past my time alloted but Morgan gave me a few homework assignments and helped plan out our next sessions. No pressure! Just whenever i felt ready to continue. Increasing club head speed. Short game. Course management, putting. These are some of the areas I'll be covering in my next few reviews with Morgan Reimler. Please. I've been playing in and off( mostly off) for a year and am inconsistent at best! Wellllll my first lesson I noticed improvement and was left shaking my head, , the second blew me away.... I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . Three very simple tips later and only 15 minutes into my first lesson, Frank had me hitting straighter and more consistently than I ever have. Had lesson #3 today and cannot believe the results. My only regret is not reaching out to him sooner and instead spending the last year and a half on YouTube videos, endless hours at the range on my own and multiple rounds just getting more frustrated. He, unfortunately, had to have unexpected life-threatening surgery and was out of commission for a bit due to this. I reached out to RJ this week since he was the instructor listed on the gift certificate to see when we can schedule golf lessons and then I received a call from Gil asking why I was reaching out to RJ and what he had to do with any of this. He hardly gave me a chance to speak and then he said that the gift certificate is expired and that RJ and Gil have retired. He didn't even give me a chance to explain what had happened or suggest whether there was anyone else that could provide the lessons. He then hung up in a hurry stating the certificate is expired and that he only provided service from November - April anyway. Maybe in upcoming November he can do something for us is what he suggested. Very poor, disappointing service. He seemed to have enough time on his hands last May when it came to accepting my $210 for the gift certificate. If he was kind, empathetic, and allowed me a moment to speak, I would understand his point. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I hope the rest of the golf community is not as cut-throat as this group.
