Our search for a place to park and watch the game led up here. Super clean, airy and a welcoming vibe. Had no trouble getting service and the gentleman pouring was very patient helping me make my decision; even provided a few samples. Ultimately I selected the Strawberry Fields, slightly sweet but crisp. Plus, they offer hot sauce, three refrigerators full.Overall great value and quantity.

I LOVED this place! My buddy and I stopped in here on a whim and grabbed a couple beers. They have a great selection both on tap and in their coolers. it was a nice day and so we took advantage and sat outside. Ok, here's the best thing. HOT SAUCE. I love this twist. Half their coolers are filled with different hot sauces. Some famous ones (i.e. Da Bomb on Hot Ones) and may lesser known ones, some even local! The gentleman working there was so nice, friendly, and helpful too! If you haven't been here, give this place a try! It's got a wonderful location on Williams and is super fun, even just to browse their hot sauce collection!

Hot sauce heaven!!! Great new addition to Williams ave. 300+ hot sauces to purchase - great tap list - sports. Outside food welcomed; Go grab Pepe Chile taqueria tacos (Fremont + Vancouver), taste test their weekly line up, add your favorite to your tacos. Boom.

I'm a certified hot sauce nerd and this place is THE BEST. It's a perfect place to spend a day off, drinking something off of the tap list and sampling sauces on chips. Customer service is great, too. I will always bring my friends here.

    Hot sauce!

Eem in Laos/Thai means 'I'm full' and this is how I feel whenever I'm done here!…read more If I had to pick my last meal on Earth, it would be at Eem. I've been coming here for nearly 10 years, and it never disappoints! My must-orders are the White Curry with their burnt brisket 10/10, the Mushroom Fried Rice 10/10, and the Carpaccio Crudo 10/10. The white curry is unbelievably rich and savory - the burnt brisket completely makes the dish unique! I genuinely dream about it! If you're visiting Portland and only have time for one meal, this is the restaurant I'd recommend without hesitation. There are no reservations, so you'll need to put your name on the waitlist and be patient. Seating is limited, but it's 100% worth the wait! Don't skip the drinks either - they're served in the cutest mugs. Eem continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Portland and I can't recommend it enough!

You are going to want to make a reservation for this place! We went on a Sunday and decided to join…read morethe waitlist when we got there. We waited 45 minutes for a seat at the bar and seated around 6:40 PM. Before we were seated, I overheard someone wanting to wait for a seat at the bar and the waiting time was 1 hour and 45 minutes. I highly recommend setting up a reservation. I heard a lot of chatter and seen plenty of reviews speaking highly of the white curry with burnt brisket ends. I had no clue what to expect, but that meal was such a highlight of meals I had while in Portland. I do not eat seafood (have not for a few years) and the broth is made with shellfish, but for this dish I was willing. The dish itself is a five star dish! The dish is well-balanced, flavorful & light. The brisket is absolutely amazing, and this is coming from someone who used to work at a barbecue joint back in the day for a few years. I would recommend this dish to anyone, unless you have a seafood allergy lol. That part is slightly misleading, I did not see anyone mention anything about shellfish and would not have guessed it, assuming the dish was simply just curry and beef. For anyone eyeing this dish, be aware that those with a shellfish allergy cannot indulge. The Bok Choy, not specifically called this on the menu, is DELICIOUS! One of the best I have ever had! It is so good, I wanted to order two just for one person! Highly recommend!! The Thai tea fell flat. I am a HUGE fan of Thai tea, so much so I purchase a specific tea from a nearby tea shop just to make it at home. I make it an absolute mission to order Thai tea if it's offered anywhere I try. At this restaurant, I would not order it again. The red curry with lamb shoulder was good, my partner ordered that dish. Specifically, he was NOT a fan, me on the other hand, I would love to go back to this establishment and get both of the curry dishes for myself. He says, it lacks flavor, so much so he could not finish it. This is really weird coming from him because he thinks everything is "flavorful" when most times, I think it is lacking. Basically, he is someone that thinks everything is good when it comes to food. On the other hand, me? Well, I am always gonna have some complaints. I think the red curry with lamb shoulder was very lamb forward. The strong flavor of the lamb, cuts the flavor of "curry" significantly. Where in comparison with the white curry and burnt brisket ends, all the flavors of brisket, shellfish, and curry were able to shine through, truly it is a really fantastic dish.

If you can't finish the croissants day of, make sure to retoast them in the toaster oven! It will still be buttery and flakey and delicious! I love getting their bon bons as gifts for others (too expensive to just get for myself ) and my favorite pastry is their snickers bar. Gosh, not much else to say because others have such a good job with their reviews. They're currently looking for a new location and I'm sad to see them leave their old spot on Williams.

This…read moretime around, the day we after we arrived in the city, the owners announced that they would be closing permanently as of Dec 28, 2026. Sad times! JinJu is my favorite bakery of the year and we had already planned a visit over the weekend before the news ever hit. We drove on over on Sunday for one last hurrah. Oh my god the line. We got there a bit over 15 minutes before opening, figuring that things wouldn't be too bad, but by that time the line stretched down the block, around the corner, and almost to the alleyway. I counted 70 people in line ahead of us. By the time the bakery opened at 8AM, there were at least another 60+ people in line after us, marching further down all the way to Vancouver Ave. Insane line. We didn't reach the door until after 9AM and then it took another 10 minutes or so to get to the front of the line. Our total wait was 1.5 hours and it was still worth the effort in my opinion. By the time we got to the front, the Ham, Bacon & Gruyere and whatever was in the bottom left case (Almond?) were already out of stock. The Butter and Chocolate were both running low with perhaps 10 pieces left of each. While the operation is winding down, the quality is still as high as ever. We went with our old standbys - the Butter Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, Spinach Feta Tart, and Morning Bun, all just as good as I remembered. I'm not even going to describe them again since they were pretty much 100% identical to my first two visits (for those curious, refer to my previous review). Portland is really losing something special. I hope Jin and Q take a well deserved long vacation and then open another concept in the near future! PS: After our multiple visits, I was never able to obtain their Almond Croissant. That's definitely my white whale, never to be achieved at this point!
