I came in about a year ago knowing almost nothing about tattoos, just that I wanted a dragon. I had…read moreno idea what style or how to even start. Bernard changed all of that. He took the time to educate me on traditional Japanese tattooing, the different styles, the symbolism, and what sets that art form apart. My piece is a 7/10 sleeve featuring a dragon with maple leaves, and every element has meaning behind it. That's something I genuinely didn't expect going in, and it made the whole experience so much more personal. What really sets Bernard apart is his attention to detail and how he designs around your body. The tattoo flows naturally, it doesn't look like something copied off a flash sheet or thrown on. Every piece he does is completely unique, and you can tell he's thinking about the whole picture, not just the session in front of him. The shop itself is always clean and comfortable. I've never felt rushed or out of place. I'm already halfway through the sleeve and can't wait to see the finished result and honestly, I'm already thinking about my next piece. If you're new to tattoos or looking for someone who truly puts craftsmanship first, ask for Bernard. You won't regret it.

His line work is amazing and bold. Keeps his shop very clean and is a professional himself. Can't wait to add chest plates and eventually to a munewari style suit.

I texted to schedule an appointment and managed to get one the next day, my artist was Mo and was amazing. You can tell how professional and passionate he is about his job. The shop is super clean and modern, all of the staff are warm and inviting. This is my 3rd tattoo ever; I especially wanted a phoenix since it represents everything I've been through, as a phoenix symbolizes being reborn and getting stronger than its past self. I'll definitely be coming back to get anymore tattoos in the future, and I've recommended Modo Ink Tattoo to just about everyone who's complimented my tattoo!

I'm so grateful I found Ken…read more I reached out before my appointment to let him know I wanted to tattoo my husband's signature. My husband passed away six months ago, and I wasn't sure yet if I wanted to add something small alongside it--something subtle that felt like "us," without taking anything away from the signature itself. I honestly didn't even know what that something was yet. From the very beginning, Ken was kind, patient, and incredibly thoughtful. He never rushed me, never tried to overcomplicate the design, and never pushed an idea that didn't feel right. He just listened. He understood how much this meant and treated it with the care it deserved. The final piece is perfect. My husband's signature is exactly as it was--clean, elegant, untouched--and the small bird Ken added feels quiet, intentional, and deeply meaningful. It complements the signature without overpowering it, which was exactly what I hoped for but didn't know how to articulate. This tattoo was done on my birthday, the first one without my husband, and it turned an emotionally heavy day into something really special. I'll carry this piece with me forever.

A very close friend recommended his work to me because he had done 2 breathtaking tattoos on her before I decided he was the right artist for me. The tattoo was inspired by the passing of my father and my best friend. His realistic interpretation of the images I brought him were perfection. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about Danny's artistic skills as a tattoo artist. Before meeting Danny, I only had one other tattoo experience. Truth be told...I would in a heartbeat return to get more done in the future but only if Danny is working the needle like only he knows how!
