The prices were great, reviews were good, and I was happy with the choice. I gave them a call in June three months before my baby was born and they said it shouldn't be a problem to get him in, just come in when he's born and get on a waiting list. Fast forward to September and my sweet baby boy has arrived. We went in and met the staff, got on a "waiting list" and was told to call in November if they don't reach out first. My baby needed to start daycare the first week of December. So November rolls around and I haven't heard from them, so I give them a call... now they tell me to call back in two weeks and they probably can get me a spot but it's not guaranteed yet. What?!? After the lack of communication and awful waiting period I decided to start calling around. Almost every daycare was booked until January, February, or even later. Honestly, I liked them. But I wouldn't recommend having to deal with their messy organization.

A review is a bit overdue, now that we've been with Kid's First for 2+ years. Kid's First has been…read moremy #1 choice for daycare for my three children (ages 3y, 18m, and expected newborn). I consider them part of our family and value their role in my children's lives. Every single teacher in the center knows and interacts with my children lovingly and as if they were their own. Management and teachers have always been professional, responsive, and considerate. Procare is used to provide updates and photos on their daily activities, and funny stories/info on their days are also shared during pick-up/drop-off, always keeping me - and even Grammy - involved. Communication lines are always open and parent-teacher conferences are offered regularly. Activities indoors and outdoors are plentiful, allowing my kids to burn their massive amounts of energy. Meals are kid-friendly while meeting and exceeding State standards for healthy meal plans. Any concerns are resolved promptly. I've never had to question the safety - physical, emotional, or otherwise - of my children while in their care, and any incidents between children are well-documented and handled appropriately. The facility is clean and maintained, providing a sanitary environment. Teachers are trained regularly, and turnover is infrequent (all but maybe two have been with the center for 1y+). In the time my kids have attended, we've seen many wonderful updates, from the installation of security cameras and complete remodels of rooms to new playground equipment and strollers for walks. In short, my kids are happy, well-taken care of, and the dedication and commitment of management and teachers to each other, to the children, and to the facility is clear to see. They once tried to convince me she had chicken pox (site definitely didn't) just so they could have one less kid to supervise. She was only 1! In one month, they called me 8 times to come get her. And I finally asked the owner how they got paid and whether the child is there for 1 hour or 8 hours, they charge for the full day, so the staff was getting their full pay and then just sending kids home! It was AWFUL.

The hours are 6 AM to 6 PM Monday-Friday, closed weekends & major holidays. Kids are given breakfast at 7:30, Lunch at 11, and a snack at 2 PM. All teachers are CPR/First Aid certified, have their food handlers, as well as have been background checked. Kids are kept a close eye on as well as engaged with individually to meet their own personal goals and unlock their potential. They are amazing at making sure he gets fed on a schedule and everytime I come to pick him up he's listening to classical music or a fun kids channel. The babies will all be sitting in a circle playing with toys or looking in a mirror. He gets his own crib for naps. The class is also small which is nice. It is hard to leave your baby with somebody else, but I don't worry about him because I know he's in great care! Prices are affordable and comparable to nearby places. I pay $155 a week for full time care. They were also able to get me in without a lot of notice too!

Nervous to write this review, not because I do not love them, I could be their marketer for how…read moremuch I love them - but because I don't want the secret out. I moved to the location I am at, JUST FOR MY BOYS TO GO THERE. I am a city girl at heart, but every time I looked elsewhere nothing compares to them. Nothing. They are not just a place to "drop off your kids". They are a place were you know your kids are thriving - where they are getting the BEST possible care aside from yourself (except that I can't do the arts and crafts they do so there is that). My youngest who is not yet two, doesn't even want to leave when I pick him up. My almost four year old runs to me with artwork he has done and tells me about his day, his friends, and turns to say bye to his teachers. There is nothing, nothing that can compare to that feeling of peace and just the knowledge that they are where they are and being so taken care of! I am so grateful that I was able to move to the area, so they can go where they are!! LOVE ME SOME HIGH ALTITUDE! :)
