In fact, it's so much about the leather that they only carry four or five trainers for boys. Jones Bootmaker also has a great range of shoe care products behind the counter. If you want to tenderly care for your shoes then they have brushes, polishes and shoe horns. Who would ever want to buy a wooden thing shaped like a foot that you put in a shoe to help it keep its shape? Is this the kind of thing a boy will never understand?

There is plenty of space in the shop for people to browse, try the shoes on and also walk around to check the comfort of the shoes. I think this is a lot better than some shoe stores where you barely have room to browse, let alone comfortably try on a pair. Always seems clean, although the smell of plastic in the shoes can sometimes be a little overpowering. The staff i've been served by have always been polite and fairly quick at serving, and i've never really noticed large queues even when shopping on a saturday.

The staff there are helpful and polite and are always at hand . Wynsors have there own big carpark and its can get busy the ques are never big as the staff are quick servers . The only problem is i think icould do with moving near to the other shops to gain more business and to make it alot easier for those who are shopping in hanley.

One glance at their confused window displays reinforces that Moda In Pelle fall firmly into the latter camp. There's no attempt to woo new customers with eye-catching graphics or cool displays, just simple rows of heels and sparkly shoes on the bottom row, ankle boots on the middle row and knee high leather, suede and jewelled boots on the top two rows. This might work if only some of the shoes and boots in the window weren't so damn ugly! Inside the shop is just as bad with radically different styles rubbing soles next to each other. I actually spotted a fabulous pair of white boots with tasteful silver studs but I wasn't going to shell out £120 on them when they were next to boots I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy! A shy and retiring little boutique amongst the smaller Market Street shops, this branch just off St Ann's Square is a right little gem. And as for those reductions, well, you can't argue with a stunning pair of bright red wedge sandals reduced from £80 to £25. Yes, your eyes aren't deceiving you, and it'd be rude not to grab them - after all, thinking of that summer holiday is probably keeping you going right now... I've always found the staff in Moda in Pelle very friendly and helpful, and they give you space to browse. There's a great range of shoes on offer too, from the aforementioned wedges (and plenty of them... I love my summer wedges, so this is a must for me) to Ugg-esque Edhas and Dais and biker boots, fancy courts and pretty pumps to a lovely variety of handbags. To me it feels like a nice little halfway point between the ostentatious self-worth of Kurt Geiger and the cheerful high street demeanour of Office and Faith. If you're after a little treat in the sale, don't miss this one out.

Broughton Shoe Warehouse always has lots of nice designs that fit the bill! Their shoes are modern, well made, extremely comfortable (most with cushioned soles) and, best of all, they are very cheap! You can usually pick up a pair for around £20-£30 and they'll last you for ages! As it's located on a retail park it's handy for parking outside too, which is a bonus! As shoes are so cheap I sometimes buy the same pair in a few different colour ways! You can never have too much comfort!!! :0)

And like any child I was drawn to it. My mum loves this place too as they do stock everything. It is quite big and has lots of space for you to try stuff on. Sometimes you go to places and there is no room to try stuff on comfortably. They also have a cafe so if you want a break this is a perfect spot! They have a great website too so go and have a look around!

Helpful store staff but expect large queues to the fitting rooms and the cashiers. Also expect at least to have walked into somebody by the time you've left the store. Reasonable prices for some good stuff makes this definitely a place to go to when in the Trafford Centre!
