Just as I put my groceries on the conveyor, this woman comes from the office and decides to do some type of audit on his register- he could not wait on me until she was done, I just looked at her in amazement, "you really have to do this now" she didn't even hurry as I stood there staring at her waiting for her to do whatever the hell she was doing so that eventually I could have the privilege of paying for the things i was buying. Previous visit I asked someone if they still has some of a sale item that was empty on the shelf, asking her if she could check the storage room and she responded "if it is not on the shelf we dont have it, that is all i know" Now think about it folks, when someone says "thats all i know" how can it be true??? they knew how to come and work and give you a hard time, then knew how to get dressed...what it really means is "screw you I do not want to help you.. I just want to do the minimum and get paid for being a crappy employee! It is smaller in comparison to Tan A but seems to carry more fruits. During Vietnamese new year, they do sell Vietnamese sticky rice also known as banh tet. It gets sold out fairly quickly however do you must come at least a week early to buy it. I do not think they have a private parking lot. You have to park on the street. The market sells snacks, seasonings, jarred sauces, and drinks that come from Vietnam or Thailand mostly. The top of the grocery store appears to be a residence. During Vietnamese new year, they sell decorative plants that you can use for your altar or as gifts. I came here looking for Thai basil and did not find it. A Chau means Asian in Vietnamese. The woman who worked here was very friendly and giggled at me because she probably thought I was super silly looking for banh tet on actual New Year's Day. In California, it would have been easy to buy day of. But in Syracuse, that type of item needs to be purchased or custom requested in advance!
