Shopping at Aldi is wonderful. You can get a lot of your food essentials in an organized and efficient manner and end up paying much less than you would at a normal grocery store. I love the layout of Aldi and the quality and simplicity of the store is just fantastic. Parking is easy and I love their system. Grocery carts require a quarter to get and you end up getting a quarter back once you return the cart. Bring a couple of reusable cloth bags to carry your groceries as they don't have plastic or paper bags to carry your groceries once finished. 5 stars for Aldi! Thank you. read more

Aldi is amazing for prices, but the downside (at least in this store) is the pathetic state of the produce. I know for sure that I cannot buy bananas and many vegetables and fruits from this location. There is always some white fuzz on the berries and the bananas are always spoiled or they don't ripen properly. I have found rotted potatoes in bags of potatoes, etc. I also bought a gallon of milk the other day which was not due for 1.5 weeks and it was thick and chunky spoiled after 2 days of my purchase. The management team needs to go through the produce and throw out the old stuff and check the temps on their fridges. The cashiers are typically friendly, so that is a plus. The Lidl a few miles down the street has much fresher produce and low costs as well. read more

I love Aldi. This is a no frills grocery store with high quality items at great prices. You put a quarter into the cart to release it for use but get it back when you are finished shopping. It sure keeps cars from getting dinged in the parking lot. There is nothing fancy about how things are presented but that allows them to keep prices so low. It doesn't take many employees to run the place well. You either bring your own bags or you can purchase some by the cash register. They also normally have boxes free to take. Aldi has great produce at prices that are so much better than any of the big chains. They even have a big selection of organic produce. I noticed today that there is also a good selection of gluten free products. Then there is the aisle that always seems to have something I need but didn't even know I needed. And at a price so good I have to buy it. These are often my greatest purchases. read more

ANOTHER GREAT DAY AT ALDI! Of course I love Aldi and this location has become my favorite stop when traveling from east to west. We stopped in to stock up on produce and snacks. Aldi is my exclusive snack store because I like their healthy options that are organic and have a lot less sodium than some of the other items on the market. I particularly love the vegetable chips, (made from actual vegetables), organic blue chips and the light kettle corn. They are delicious and some of our favorite snack staples. I would only ask that this location adopt a designated chip aisle as our chips were in three different places and this was not as convenient. I really love their fresh, generously sized chicken wings because they make the best seasoned wings ever! They are set apart from commercial wings because these are actual wings with the tip, flat and drum in tact. When you go out for wings, you only get wing pieces but you are charged for an entire wing. Think about it! Finally, I have discovered that commercial wings tend to be fried, greasy and over-seasoned. Mine are baked low and slow so they are very flavorful and not greasy. You must try their wings for your Superbowl gathering! We love sampling their imported cheeses because they tend to be rich and delicious. A little goes a long way so they are perfect when added to your favorite dish or pasta. During our visit, the store was nicely stocked and our wait in line was short. It was another great day at Aldi! ***Once I started purchasing their brioche buns for my homemade burgers, my family would settle for nothing less. These buns are great for breakfast sandwiches too, just grill them on both sides before adding your eggs, protein and vegetables (if you wish). ***The whipping cream is a MUST for your favorite white pasta dishes. ***This time we tried their cheesecake sampler which was very good without being too sweet or rich. You will get strawberry, caramel and chocolate, chocolate and your standard option. I was really surprised by the strawberry which was not just a topping but was incorporated into the cheesecake for a depth of flavor. read more

I visited on a Thursday, the feel is very different than a grocery store, more like a low inventory mountain market. They were out of eggs and milk, eggs cracked inside the refrigerator. My friends had told me great things about aldi and I checked the reviews, but the experience was unexpectedly mediocre. The cashier was courteous. read more

People have told me about Aldi here and there over the years, but I've always been too intimidated to try it. I didn't know the process for checking out a cart or bagging your own groceries, so I've stuck with the tried-and-true. I finally gave it a whirl, and I am so glad that I did! Neither the cart check-out nor the grocery bagging was difficult, and the savings on a big chunk of my weekly groceries are amazing. If you're brand-loyal, this may not be the place for you. Amongst one product, you're not going to have a dozen choices in brand - usually just one or two. Sometimes it's an off-brand, sometimes it's and Aldi brand, and sometimes it's a name brand. It's all good, though. I got some off-brand chocolate hazelnut spread for about $2, and it tastes just like the popular name brand. Eggs today were 69 cents a dozen, and milk was $2.18 a gallon (those prices fluctuate). Meat is okay. Prices are great, but I have found that I like the quality elsewhere better. It's all vacuum packaged, so at least it keeps well. I'm not all-organic or gluten-free, but they do have many options for both diets that are comparable in price to their non-organic and full-of-gluten counterparts. They taste really good, too. I have always been loyal to my large chain grocery store, but it's come time to simply pay less for my groceries. I do my shopping here, and I go to the new local farmer's market chain store for my meat and produce. I may have to fill in some gaps at the national chain with things I can't find at Aldi or the farmer's market. As far as service goes, there is not much of it. That's part of the concept, though; you do more, their overhead is less, and you benefit from the savings. I've seen the spectrum of cashier friendliness. Last week's was really super friendly and engaging, while a more recent cashier barely looked at me. Definitely an area for improvement - if you're the ONLY face I see during my visit, it's on you to make me feel welcome. read more

As a devoted Walmart shopper (), I was rather reluctant to switch up my routine. Guys, I even use the Walmart app Savjngs Catcher. :) devoted! but even so, it's undeniable--shopping at Aldi saves us about 25% per week in our grocery bill. Additional pros: small, clean store, easy to get around, just one aisle of random (didn't know I needed one of these!) items, lots of fresh, cheap produce, everything I need for meat and dairy, plenty of gluten free items, and right now they're selling cute little Japanese maple trees. Cons: I always forget to bring my own bags (you bag your own), I still need to visit Walmart once in a while for things that are not available here, and no real customer service (to save on costs). Overall, pros outweigh the cons, and saves us money! read more

I've been shopping at ALDI for a long time and I agree with what most folks have to say about the quality and cost savings. I usually go for their weekly price leaders, fresh produce, and meats born and processed in the U.S.A. (unlike most other grocery chains where you will see Mexico and Canada on the labels). However, and this is a BIG HOWEVER -- their Customer Service once you leave the store is TERRIBLE!!! God forbid you lose something and want to contact the store to see if they've found it. Or you want to call to see if they have something in stock. Or you get home, look at your receipt and realize they didn't give you their advertised sale price on an item. FORGET IT!! All of their local store phone numbers are unpublished. Yes, I said unpublished! ALDI DOES NOT WANT TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS!!! There is one "Customer Service" phone number and I use that term very loosely. It has a recording that explains to you that their "business model" does not allow for human interaction. You must complete a long and involved form online that requires a ton of information, much of it often not relevant to your particular circumstances. There's no way out. Every single field must be completed correctly or you receive a message letting you know there's an error you need to fix. However, they don't let you know which is the offending field, so you just have to guess. It took me the better part of 45 minutes to complete this form, since I got this error message like 20 times! I really don't care what their "business model" is. The bottom line is that their Customer Service is not just bad, it's virtually non-existent and in my humble opinion, this is not a good thing on any level. The closest store to me is seven miles from my house, so now I have to drive the 14 mile round trip just to resolve a cost discrepancy. This extra time and gasoline pretty much negates any savings I might have received on the item they overcharged me for. I'm thinkin' I'll just go back to Publix for my groceries. Their Customer Service is based on the age old "business model" -- be there for your customers and resolve their concerns completely and expeditiously, and do it with a smile. :) read more

Love this place!! I discovered this place to very closer to my place than Walmart, so I explored it. It's the perfect grocery shopping place because it is small so I don't have to wander around looking for what I want, prices are reasonable, and you could pretty much find almost everything you need. I feel the food options are healthier than Walmart. I tried almost all of their frozen Chicken, and they are worth it. TRY THEIR CHOCOLATE CAKE. It's the BEST. banana is way cheaper than Walmart. Just make sure you have a quarter to check-out a cart for you to use it. Also they finally ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS. read more

Great place for your weekly grocery shopping. They also have different seasonal items every week. Prices are low compared to grocery stores, fruits and veggies are way cheaper than Publix and Kroger. Love the fact that they started accepting credit cards! read more

I wanted to share my experience with this store manager . I want to make clear i love Aldi and their products but i am totally unhappy with the store manager (Dzenana) how she handled the situation last week. I bought few items and was trying to do multiple transactions and she denied stating it breaks or slows down their machine and i should go to publix or walmart to do multiple transactions. I requested her to try and if it breaks the machine i will not do the multiple transactions in future knowing she is just giving some excuse . To her surprise the machine did not do any problem and i was asking if she really thinks it is a machine issue or she was just not ready to do extra effort of doing multiple transaction. She started telling me i was not doing honest transaction, i was surprised to hear that arrogance and asked her how it is not honest transaction if i am buying items and paying using my own card for that she didn't have any answer. I asked for manager and she is the manager of the store, i was surprised to see so low energy manager not concerned about customer service she setting up that kind of example to her staff. I asked for corporate number since i didn't want to deal with her anymore. She gave me the number and asked me not to come to her store anymore. I am concerned to see how a store manager can ask customer to go to competitors and have no regard for customers or customer service and tell customer that they should not come to the store. Hope somebody from higher up in Aldi looks this review and take appropriate steps.
