Woodman's Market is a local Wisconsin brand of markets that puts every other market I have shopped at to shame. They are community focused and worker owned, which is really cool in today's corporate driven retail environment. In addition to their mission, they are solely grocery driven, meaning they focus on food, and lots of it...you will not find a wide variety of clothing, toys, seasonal items, etc...here, just food, lots and lots of food, and drinks. The store itself is MASSIVE, overwhelmingly so. However it is so thoughtfully laid out and spaced very well. Aisles are wide, sections are very clear and well defined and again, the selection is unreal. This is repeated throughout the store with every section from produce, veggies, snacks, frozen, meats, drinks, etc... In addition to the impressive variety of goods, Woodman's also has a gas station, service/lube station (oil changes), car wash and of course a well-stocked and good sized liquor store! Legit, everything. The store is well maintained conditionally and was very clean, inside and out. Service was top notch as well. From the cart attendance to the stock associate to the cashier...all were great! Overall, Woodman's Market is currently my favorite grocery store in the country. And I am honestly willing to throw hands over it. In addition to restaurants and other spaces I visit when in WI, Woodman's is always considered a priority stop!

Some things I love about Woodman's: * It's employee-owned, and every employee I've come across has been happy and helpful to chat with. * They are all laid out about the same. For example, I know that I can usually find the cheese curds (something else we typically stop for to give to others back home) in the cases near the back wall. * It's clean. * There is a wide variety of items, including produce and locally made products. * The attached liquor store is also easy to find your way around in. Like others have mentioned, Woodman's does not take most credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand.

They make you wait 14 BUSINESS days with not tracking for a lost package before they reship. And then it will take them a week to get it out the door again. Out time for planting is quickly passing. Do not trust this scam business for anything. They are horrible and have the worst customer service. We paid $6 for shipping and to mail a few packs of seeds from WI to IL which should have been 2-3 days max and cost USPS discount rates about 4.75 with tracking but they used some cheaper no tracking service to screw us over. I'm furious with this two bit garbage company. It's going to take over a month to get this coffee and we will have missed the seed planting window. You all have permanently lost our business and anyone that mentions seeds to me will get a DO NOT BUY FRom Jungs suggestion. I hope what you saved on no tracking shipping was worth it you cheapos!

Small corner, maybe fits about 6 adults at counter seating (no tables). They had some games - connect four, hook on the ring and cribbage. Cute little kids area too. Pizza: well this was big for us as a party of two so we have the other half left over. The crust was so crunchy. Toppings were delicious! Real clams, creamy. I thought this pizza got better with each bite. Super cheesy, pulls apart. Would definitely come back to order their other ones!

I began going to Aldi just for their wine selection (which is also really good!) and then began grocery shopping there on a regular basis. It's my go-to store now. I've tried some of their beers and they've been OK. Like other Aldi stores, this one has been recently renovated so it's much nicer and better organized. For newcomers, it's important to remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart and tote bags since they don't bag for you at checkout (you can also buy recycled or plastic bags there). And if Aldi doesn't have everything on your list, there's a HyVee conveniently located next door.

I love the fact that every week is different in aldi. They have special sales run each week and you will never know what you find there. Egg was slightly less flavorful than I expected. Mochi donut is the main item in Glazed. There were some food items as well, but I didn't find takers for that. I went for 3 donuts - Oreo, honey dew and churro. The flavors were all interesting. May be oreo was my favorite. Donut texture was more chewy. From S&B Hmong Kitchen, I went for a fried rice from this place. It was flavorful. Cilantro and scallion on top gave a nice flavor kick. From Poké Mì, I went for a drunken noodles as my entree. It was not as good as I expected. Flavors were off. May be I should have gone for bahn mi. I haven't seen sugar cane juice anywhere else in Madison. So went for one. I thought it was just ok.

It's a really large space and has plenty of parking all around it. They had everything you could hope for; micro greens, baked goods, produce, meat, personal care items, live music and more! Several booths were offering samples to try before purchasing. We enjoyed trying cheese curds and baked goods from various stands. The live music was a really nice touch. People were dancing and singing as they were browsing the different booths. It was a lovely morning and we got to take plenty of delicious produce home with us. We will be back!

A few truly authentic food stands and more friendly folks than you could chat with. I love its intimate size and knowing that I now have 'a guy' for nearly anything local and organic.
