Woodman's Market...may be the first grocery store that had me contemplating relocation across…read morestates just to be able to shop there. Woodman's Market is a local Wisconsin brand of markets that puts every other market I have shopped at to shame. They are community focused and worker owned, which is really cool in today's corporate driven retail environment. In addition to their mission, they are solely grocery driven, meaning they focus on food, and lots of it...you will not find a wide variety of clothing, toys, seasonal items, etc...here, just food, lots and lots of food, and drinks. The store itself is MASSIVE, overwhelmingly so. However it is so thoughtfully laid out and spaced very well. Aisles are wide, sections are very clear and well defined and again, the selection is unreal. This is repeated throughout the store with every section from produce, veggies, snacks, frozen, meats, drinks, etc... In addition to the impressive variety of goods, Woodman's also has a gas station, service/lube station (oil changes), car wash and of course a well-stocked and good sized liquor store! Legit, everything. The store is well maintained conditionally and was very clean, inside and out. Service was top notch as well. From the cart attendance to the stock associate to the cashier...all were great! Overall, Woodman's Market is currently my favorite grocery store in the country. And I am honestly willing to throw hands over it. In addition to restaurants and other spaces I visit when in WI, Woodman's is always considered a priority stop!

Some things I love about Woodman's: * It's employee-owned, and every employee I've come across has been happy and helpful to chat with. * They are all laid out about the same. For example, I know that I can usually find the cheese curds (something else we typically stop for to give to others back home) in the cases near the back wall. * It's clean. * There is a wide variety of items, including produce and locally made products. * The attached liquor store is also easy to find your way around in. Like others have mentioned, Woodman's does not take most credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand.

We're visiting the Wisconsin Dells area, and needed to replenish some basic groceries for cooking…read morein our rental condo, some trail mix and the like for hiking, and some health and beauty items (vitamins, deodorant, etc.). We dropped in on a Monday around 5 pm in May, 2023. The store is huge, and signage is good to help you to find what you're looking for. Nonetheless, we found ourselves zig-zagging across the store because we weren't familiar with its layout. The good news, though, is that we found everything that we intended to buy. We were particularly impressed with the fruits and vegetables section. The quality of items was very good, as were many of the prices. An English cucumber for 98 cents; baby carrots, $1.24. These are cheaper than back home though I don't know whether grocery inflation is abating at home as well. Check-out was also relatively easy. There were only two people in front of us, and both only had small orders. Our check-out cashier Henry was accurate, efficient, and friendly. What else could you ask for?

You would think a…read moretourist destination like Wisconsin Dells would have a little more class but no it means bring your freaking pet act like a complete imbecile when using the self checkout line and then just leave their garbage . The employees are probably even worse after years of working in water parks. They graduated to the Walmart and just don't give a crap anymore.. I'm glad there's a Walmart in Wisconsin Dells because there isn't much else here for the residence of the city thank goodness and Aldi's is opening up soon because then we actually have some competition

Had never heard of this grocery chain and decided to try it out…read more They have a liquor store attached and per the hubs, his favorite bourbon was definitely cheaper than another big name liquor store we frequent. Produce section looked fresh and well organized. We don't shop the junk in the middle isles, so no feedback on that part. We just moved back to WI from our TX home and would really appreciate getting a nicer grocery store for Richland Center. Our only choice is terrible. You would do very well here! I would go back and shop there again.

Upon entering there is always a "deal of the day" on some type of meal, which has saved the day for some dinners. The bakery selection is pretty decent; you'll always find great dinner rolls, Italian breads, quality buns for cookouts, delicious pies and treats. The produce section is well-stocked and the best in towns far as quality. There is always someone enthusiastic in produce willing to help and frequently will offer to let you try fruits that are limited or seasonal and give information about the new additions. Pre-cut fruits and veggies available, as well as trays for gatherings. Something is always on special in produce. There's always someone stocking or behind the meat counter to help, which is great and saves time. It's best to watch for sales on the shelf items because Festival is the pricier one in town for those -that is my only reason for four stars. It's better for us to go to Festival for produce and deli but our receipt adds up fast when we go for our dry goods. Great selection of local ice creams, have to love that in Wisconsin! Decent liquor selection and always someone to help you out with a great attitude. Not a large floral department but there's a modest selection of fresh cut flowers and plants that have lasted me a long time. They added some self checkout in the last year to help with avoiding long lines, which has been a great addition. Both the long-time cashiers and the ones in training are always efficient and friendly. This Festival hires young staff members on their team and do a wonderful job choosing their applicants as they do a great job making conversion and being efficient. Overall it's the freshest store in town with great service! Side notes; lots of parking, they do pretty well on keeping the carts stocked as well. It's convenient that they have umbrellas to use to get to your car if it starts raining and return at the front!
