Flea market style tables and tents…read more The market also features many local growers with good deals on all kinds of produce, cheeses, honey, jam, etc. Some Amish folks run a wonderful bake shop that is also open there every week. Another must-try are the fresh, hot apple cider donuts at a nearby stand--mixed and fried on the spot! At 9am, an auctioneer sells off larger items (everything from bikes and dressers to tractors) from an extensive lot of goods available for preview at 7am. There is also a livestock sale/auction. Only 45 minutes from Buffalo, so it's an easy trip. Get there early! Many of the flea market vendors break down and leave around noon. Also, this is totally open air, in the middle of a field on a hill, so skip rainy days--and wear sunscreen! Prepare for a bit of walking to/from car and around grounds. You may want to bring a tote bag or wagon to haul your goods back to the car.
