Such a great activity! We make the trip from Buffalo each year. On top of just being a fantastic flower cutting experience, it is accessible with mostly flat grounds. The owner Ellen is so sweet and kind. Truly a must do activity! The gladiolus are my absolute favorite.

I had a lovely experience here with two of my adult children on August 25th. This flower farm operates by reservation only, which can easily be made online. You are given a full 90 minute appointment for the date and time slot of your choosing. You are free to take pictures, cut flowers of your choosing and enjoy the property. There is even an option offered to bring a photographer for your session! This would be a beautiful place for a proposal. The way pricing works is by the size container you choose to fill, there are a handful of options from very affordable to quite pricey. Depending on what you are looking for. Fresh flowers typically grace my table each week - nature's Chanel. This week was my 23rd wedding anniversary and deserved a little more luxurious collection. My husband was away on business for a few days, so two of my children accompanied me to collect these gems in advance of our celebratory day. There is music piped out into the field which was enjoyable. After we picked to our hearts content on this super hot afternoon, we were so grateful that cold bottled water was sold up at the stand along with gift shop quality items AND fresh produce. I recommend this experience for everyone. The people were very personable and a pleasure to interact with. They accept cash, check or Venmo for payment. It's super beautiful at sunset time as well as evidenced by photos on their Instagram page. Thank you so much for a memorable experience on our special week.

This place is a flower lover's DREAM! I've recently discovered that I have a love of flowers and arrangement and I loved the ability to make a bouquet and for only $20!! Unreal. Both the ladies who run the shop were so knowledgeable and encouraging and make sure you leave happy and your bouquets are full and lush! She sent me out at least twice to get more flowers- "you haven't gotten your money's worth yet, keep going!" Loved loved loved my experience and can't wait to come back!!

My mom and I took a drive out to this well publicized place on Step Out Buffalo. If you or anyone you know love flowers as we both do, this is definitely the place to pick enticing, elegant fascinating flowers. Ellen and Becca were very helpful in explain how container selection for flowers worked, pricing, and pruning techniques for flowers. For a reasonable price we ended up with 5 different boutiques out of one. Check out 716FlowerStand.com for more information.

Get to Pepper's Blueberry Hill Farm within the next week for prime blueberry picking conditions!…read more This was my second year going to Pepper's and it is a bit of a drive from Buffalo, but highly worth it. It is easy to get to when you put the address, or the name of the farm into your GPS. There are also signs posted on the main road on where you should turn. The owner, who is always there, is extremely friendly and helpful. This year he even had water set up, in case you get a little parched while picking berries, and bug spray, if you forgot to spray up. They also provided picking jugs this year, just remember to bring your own container to put the blueberries in after picking, weighing, and paying. They do not spray their blueberries with pesticides, and it is only $1 per pound. The blueberries are delicious. I'm a slow picker and only picked 2 pounds in an hour. My mom and her husband got 5 pounds of blueberries. They like to freeze them and use them throughout the year in yogurt and smoothies. I can't wait for next year.

When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Dave, a kind and friendly man that radiated positive energy. Dave equips you with a gallon milk jug that is fashioned into a collecting vessel and provides you with a rope to tie the jug around your waist (you can take more than one jug). You pay only for what you collect and you pay $1 per pound of blueberries. We were encouraged to eat the blueberries right off the bush as he (Dave) did not spray the blueberries with any pesticides He told us that the farm was started in the early 1940's when his great grandfather first started planting the bushes. He explained to us that there were over 4,000 (yes you read that correctly four thousand!) bushes of blueberries and that there were many different varieties/species of blueberries just how there's different types/species of apples. The weather was beautiful and we all had a once in a lifetime experience of blueberry picking that I would recommend to anyone and everyone!!
