If you want the real deal - this is the place to go. I believe everything they have is grown at the…read morelocation and therefore grows well in our location! They have a ton of plants to pick from - even early on in the season. From annuals and perennials of flowers and then vegetables, tropical indoor to amazing outdoor plants. And unlike some places - the people who work here grow the plants - so guess what - they are extremely knowledge and trustworthy too! Ok - normally I go for cleanliness - but come on - this is about dirt! What about organization - from one greenhouse to the next - and trust me they have many - you will see a huge selection - so organization is by plants. Sharon took care of me today because grandma Barns wasn't there, but her plants were! I purchased some humming bird attracting vine for hanging baskets - talk about a deal and was even told how to make them come back next year! I also bought an angel leaf fern - pretty cool looking fern and she taught me how to take care of it and clean it out! Of course my basil isn't ready yet, but I will be back. Sharon also told me about the lemon basil and how good it is with fish and that the cinnamon basil is excellent for pork - now where else can you go and get cooking tips from the person selling you plants? Their new greenhouse is also "State of the Art" amazing and there isn't one greenhouse that is off limits to you - simply amazing! Don't worry about parking - plenty of that. And if your hands are full - don't worry - they will help bring it to your vehicle - the nicest and friendliest people in the business! This surely gets my 5 star and I encourage everyone to check them out!

I've been using this for a long time and I am so excited to see the shop expanding from pop-ups only to a brick-and-mortar. If you are having any kind of skin issues and looking for natural remedies, talk to the owner here and she can help you find the best thing for healing. The shop is woman-owned and LGBTQ+ friendly, super welcoming. Street parking was easy to find (although that might depend on the day).

Just a few miles from Ellicottville, this working farm is conveniently located off of RTE 98 on Sugartown Rd., Great Valley NY. Upon entering the property, there is a large public area adjacent to the free parking lot. This area is like a Farmer's Market on steroids. Many vendors offer homegrown fresh fruit, squash, pumpkins, and gourds. You'll find many novelty shops displaying huge varieties of delightful harvest craft items and fall decor, packaged food items, baked goods, souvenirs and cider. The hungry visitor can indulge in chicken BBQ dinners as well as burger and hot dog combos. It was great to see a Pulled Pork sandwich combo among the menu items at the concession stand. There is also a beer wine and hard cider pavilion for adults. The big draw for us, and the sole reason for visiting today was to treat the grandchildren to fun activities in an agricultural setting. We bought all day "Barnyard Blast" passes on my phone, on advice from the ticket cashier which allowed us to save a couple of bucks over the walk up price. The "Barnyard Blast" pass gave us access to over 35 fun family activities, including Pumpkin' Jumpin' Pillow, Fun Zone (including brand NEW obstacle course), Cow Train, Corn Maze, Hayride, Happy Horse Carousel, Pumpkinville Express Train. Try as we might, in over 5 hours we actually could not try every ride or attraction. Our little guys spent a solid hour happily bouncing away at the Pumpkin Jumping Pillow attraction. Then it was time to hit the giant slide a million times before tackling the obstacle course (Navy Seal level!) Both boys were asleep in their car seats in no time flat, a true testament to a day well spent in the fresh air. Another great family friendly activity close to home! mL
