So I decided to gather my thoughts before trying to figure out again the correct door to enter and spare me looking like an idiot standing there looking so very confused. Im not a bimbo but this store seems to bring it out in me!! Anyway I as I reached for my trolly I got my usual volt of static electricity from it. As I recoiled my arm in shock looking like a Harry Potter fan trying to do a magic trick I knew I could forget my street cred and off I went to explore the store! The aisles are so small and narrow two trollies can not pass buy each other without one person having to reverse or push themselves against the shelves whilst trying not to let the contents fall to the ground. I have shopped here about three times but each time it is the same I park my trolly in some corner of the shop and walk around helplessly with my super valu brochure in my hand searching for the the items I want. Yesterday I just couldn't get it together I end up having to ask whom I guess was the manager to direct me to nearly every thing I wanted from the brochure!. I was was like a mute cavewoman pointing to the pictures in the brochure. I was directed swiftly to the area where each item was, and then I would point again and be swiftly directed again. I am normally OK at shopping and finding products but this shop is just pretty frustrating! Ok to the good points - the staff are very friendly and helpful and there are some good deals in store. Also you dont need a coin for the trolly!

The store was well laid out, bright, clean, organized and stocked will all the goods, fresh and packaged! We popped in after a few snacks to stock our nearby hotel room with and while we had a list of what we were after, I could not help but wander up and down each aisle. Always something new and exciting for me to waste time looking at...and I loved every minute of it! Service was friendly and helpful. Queues were moving quickly, always available staff on the aisles when needed. Only thing is they do not have a public restroom, so just in case you were in need during your trip in. Overall, solid shopping experience at my first Tesco!

But among the empty houses and the skeletons of skyscrapers there are a few hangers-on. Microsoft has a big office here, and during the week their workers make a little buzz around the place. Outside of work hours the whole area is dead, but those few hours of activity are enough to sustain a few businesses. One of those lonely outposts is a healthy Dunnes Stores. Given the nature of their clientele, they have adapted to provide a large selection of prepared lunches for the poor folks who work out here. But a little deeper in the store are all the groceries one would expect.

The layout is a combination of convenience and grocery store. Shelves of shelf stable snacks and coolers of drinks plus a hot food station, small meat counter, fresh produce, wine/beer section, coffee counter, and even a deli station. All of the above is in a small footprint, but it is laid out quite nicely. Easy flow and navigable. The space is well kept conditionally and kept very clean. Pricing was a tad higher than the neighboring Tesco, but you are paying for the experience here just as much as the product. Service was friendly and welcoming from entry to exit. Overall, wildly impressed with Donnybrook Fair, and definitely recommend swinging by when in the Stillorgan area!

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful from shop floor to checkouts. I don't usually shop in Dunnes but you have made me a customer from now on. I was going through the checkout with my Xmas shopping when two ladies behind gave me Three money off vouchers towards my shopping, this just blew me away. It was the kindest gesture I have ever experienced in my life from total strangers and just made my day. My husband has Parkinson's and it had started my day bad but this just gave us the boost we needed. Thank you you all both staff and customers. Merry Christmas and a very happy New year to you all.

I understand that RTE's Joe Duffy Radio Show has in recent weeks been highlighting this scam perpetrated by Lidl. BE AWARE! DO NOT SHOP AT LIDL, YOU RISK BEING SCAMMED!!! Had no access to the stores website while in the store to set up my Tesco membership. The service for internet was terrible and I couldn't even connect to the WiFi. The food and products here were overpriced, and even with the Tesco deals you're still paying more than you would at other stores in the area. The ambiance was crowded and very cramped. Staff were helpful but overall a difficult experience just to get some groceries. Will stick to other locations such as Aldi in the future
