During the spring there is another business that sets up shop for a couple of months selling plants (flowers and veggies). I like to buy my plants for my pots and the occasional hanging basket of flowers or a fern. When it's getting close to the close of the shops season they sell their plants for 10, 20, 30, 40 then 50% off as the weeks grow closer to the end. I've gotten some nice things at the end of the season for the discounted price. Total score! When fall arrives they truck in the fall goods like pumpkins, hay, mums and corn stalks. I love fall, but that means that Vaccaro's will be closing for the winter. I don't like winter at all. As long as I can make it through each winter I know I can look forward to spring and all of the goods I get to purchase at Vaccaro's.
