Pros: *Love how it's so much more organized and cleaner compared to the last. Even the produce is in great condition. *Produce is fresh, good quality, and often priced lower than larger grocery chains. *Huge selection of Vietnamese and other Asian groceries including sauces, spices, noodles, teas, snacks, and pantry staples. *Good variety of vegan and vegetarian products, including plant-based meat alternatives. *Friendly, efficient staff and cashiers (lately, it's been positive) *Food court/snack is convenient. I noticed they always get busy especially on the weekends. *Fun to browse! You will probably leave with three things you didn't know you needed. This last visit I bought some fresh rambutan and 100% lychee and mango juices (great quality with no added sugars). *I also spotted a great deal of 16-count Champagne mangoes for $8.99! *Sign up for their membership - points for cash! Cons: *Parking can be a challenge, especially on weekends. Some items don't have price tags, and it's unclear how much they cost. From morning until around 3 PM, the manager isn't present in the store, and if you run into a problem, it's unclear who you're supposed to talk to (according to the staff). The employees have absolutely no information about whether the seafood is wild-caught or farm-raised. Most interesting of all, if you pay with EBT, they refuse to give you a bag (plastic or paper), which I reported to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. In short, I will not be shopping at this store again.

I have some extra time now that I am retired so I am working on improving my home insulation.  I am…read morestarting with the hottest room in the house.  The side of the window that opens is the hottest in the house.  Currently I have aluminum foil taped onto a sunshield which I placed between the glass and the screen.  That worked for a summer but the tape was disintegrating from being in the sun. Looking on amazon.com I found some window insulation. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSHVSFYX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 It was reflective like aluminum foil.  I found it to be thin and have similar insulation quality as a double layer of aluminum foil.  It is pretty flimsy and tricky to keep in place against the screen. Not awesome but I like it better than aluminum foil. On the left side of the window I have 3 1 inch sheets of foam insulation and on the right side I have a double layer of the aluminum window insulation plus a sunshield. I took some temperature measurements. wunderground.com temp for area 87F wall 79F window with 3 layers of 1 inch foam insulation 82F window with aluminum window insulation plus sunshield 84F So far using 3 inches of foam insulation is the best insulation I've found.  I'm going to keep looking for better insulation for this troublesome window. I come here once a week for a grocery pick up and the associates I interact with are great…read more However, the Amazon drivers that are standing around have consistently been rude the last few times I've been here. Being rude as in: standing in the only TWO parking spots available for Amazon fresh pick, Amazon fresh delivery drivers (in blue vests) parking in designated spots for customer pickup, walking across the parking spot when you're clearly backing into it and there is plenty of sidewalk to be on. Can't help to think they're doing it on purpose. Love the deals and convenience but wish there was a better solution for Amazon fresh pick up & more considerate employees.
