Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! So glad it's close to my house!

I have to stop myself from eating too much of it so that I don't kill my appetite for dinner! Their dinner portions are huge, I always have leftovers for the next day. Everything my family and I got was delicious. My husband really liked this entree that was one of the daily specials a couple months ago.. I was so impressed that the server asked the chef if they could make it tonight for my husband and they said yes! What a treat and so thoughtful. The dining room is quaint and server was so friendly, you really feel like family when dining there. We will be back soon!

Are you fed up with increasing costs in groceries? Would you like to save some money on your basic…read morecooking staples? Did you just look at your $300 grocery bill and wonder where all the food went? If you answered Yes to any of these questions.. you need to run.. not walk.. to Aldi. Aldi is a multinational discount supermarket chain that originated in Germany that operates over 12,000 stores in over 18 countries. The one I frequent the most is the one located in Orlando on Narcoosee Rd since it's so close to my house. Aldi carries all your basic necessities from eggs, milk, bread, fruits and vegetables. You name it they've got it. At least for the most part. You can find pretty much anything you need for your fridge or your pantry for much less compared to your local Publix. You can get a dozen eggs here for less than $2. If you went somewhere else.. you'd end up paying about $6-8. So if you did the math.. that's about $4-$6 you just saved. And it doesn't stop there. Whenever I'm craving salmon (which is quite often) I usually get it here and it's $19 and it easily feeds 6 people. Oh and if you're a charcuterie board person... I highly recommend stocking up on the cheeses and Italian meats. They have everything from Gruyère, Brie, Gouda, Asiago, manchego and even goat cheeses. And did I mention that they sell wine and beers here too?! You can get a nice bottle of red for $7 and still be tipsy. I love that Aldi has all the ingredients I need at a fraction of the costs. I can pick up all my ingredients, cook a fabulous meal and drink my arse off like there's no tomorrow and not feel bad about it. The only disclaimer I will add is that all Aldi locations are slightly different. One store may have more or less than the next location. Oh and another I want you to know is that they do charge for grocery bags. So make sure to bring your own. Remember to have a quarter handy to use their shopping carts. You'll get it back when you check out and put the cart back.

I love Aldi. My tip is to give them a chance. The brands may not be what you're used to but the quality is decent. Produce so far has not wronged me. There are some organic options, too. There's also a decent-sized gluten free section. I thought I went hard the other day grocery shopping. I was throwing in handfuls of things, double of some things, things I just thought LOOKED interesting...thought surely it's over $100. It ended up being $54. It would've been that amount if I was at Publix or Lucky's Market. No shade towards those places, they're just more pricey due to their business model. Make sure to bring your own bags and a quarter to get a cart. The quarter is returned when you return the cart. :)

I tell people Aldi is the "Affordable Whole Foods". They have a large variety of regular grocery items, and some of them are on the healthier side. They kept most of the original layout of Luckys, and made it look more like a traditional Aldi. I got a good amount of fresh produce for some upcoming lunches for less than $10! They're on the same price point of Fancy Fruit for their produce, which I appreciate!

Every order I've placed has been smooth from start to finish. What really makes me stick with Aldi is the fact that I can fill my cart with everything I need -- fruits, snacks, drinks, household items, and even little treats -- without my total shooting up the way it usually does at other stores. Their prices are super affordable, and you can actually see the difference when you compare receipts. Everything always comes neatly packed, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it. I've never had any major issue with missing or damaged items, which is rare these days when it comes to grocery deliveries. The convenience alone is a win for me. I love how easy it is to place an order through their app or delivery service -- no long lines, no hassle, and I can get everything right to my door without breaking the bank. Another thing I love about Aldi is their store-brand items. Some of them are honestly better than the big-name brands. From snacks to frozen meals to fresh produce, everything has been really good quality for the price. It's like I'm saving money without having to compromise on taste or quality. Overall, Aldi has become my go-to grocery store. Between the low prices, fast delivery, and reliable service, I don't see myself switching anytime soon. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to save money while still getting good-quality groceries without the stress of shopping in person.
