I am a regular at Aldi stores. I find their prices for name brand items really good, for example Kellogg's cereal....their regular prices is better than some of the sale deals you see around at other supermarkets. Yes, they have a lot of private label items, but many of them have excellent quality as well.... I also love their selection of charcuterie, cheeses and tofu. Red alert! This is not a drill. Pumpkin spice has landed. Form an orderly line and head over to Aldi's ASAP to stock up on this once a year treat! Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter hanging in an Aldi's keychain made for that purpose attached to my purse. I have noticed that a lot of stores are leaving carts where the quarter slot is locked in the parking lot for shoppers but not at this store so bring your quarter. This store held their grand opening on December 19, 2019 and it still looks brand new! This is one of the cleanest and neatest Aldi's I have ever been in. One of my favorite things about shopping at Aldi's is the seasonal items and now it is pumpkin spice time. Grab your pumpkin spice candles, soft caramels, pretzels, cookies, artisan crisps, cheesecake drizzled popcorn, coffee, bundt cakes, bagels, and almonds. I love their $3.99 candles that fit the same holders as the much more expensive Bath and Body Works candles. I can't live without their cheap kale and spinach, Asian bagged salads, queso, chips and crackers, French roast coffee K cups, microwave risotto, and reduced calorie orange juice. It is so much fun discovering new products like the chocolate stuffed marshmallows and hard root beer. I picked up the crock pot ready beef roast with onions and potatoes for an easy meal. There are always new things to discover while you save money. There wasn't even a line at checkout. Soon it will be favorite time of the year at Aldi's, Ocktoberfest when they roll out the schnitzel, spatzle, Bavarian pretzels, and strudel. I always stock up on the German specialties. The more I shop at Aldi's, the bigger fan I become. I even converted my daughter. Some times I watch the videos on You Tube where people will take on the challenge to do a weeks worth of grocery shopping here for $10. It includes chicken drumsticks and bagged rice. This is a brand new location, which opened in December 2019, and it was built from the ground up! Their newest format is fantastic! The isles are wider, the shopping carts are bigger and the entire store has become even more shopper friendly. They're prices are UNBELIEVABLE and they also offer name brand items, but pretty much everything else is under they're own label. Don't let that bother you! For example, think about what a bag of Doritos chips cost at a market like Publix and then figure in both the chip manufacturer's cost of advertising, plus that of the supermarket itself. This isn't much of a factor at Aldi's because most products are under their own label. A great deal is their wine section. They have so many types, many being under their label, Winking Owl, and they're about $2.89 per bottle!!! Quality of customer service by hiring quality people. This store is very unpleasant and disrespectful from management to cashiers.

Neighbors were telling me how great Aldi is, so I came for the first time. Unfortunately I had terrible experience. On our way home after having dinner, I told hubby: let's go to Aldi. We came in to the store probably 10 minutes before closing. We started shopping. 5 minutes later, an employee was shouting out loud and saying something which we can't really understand what she was saying. Couple minutes later, she shouted again: 2 minutes left! Ah, now we realized what she was yelling about earlier. Can't they do it in a better, more soothing and comfortable way and not to make customers feel so stressful and disrespectful? After checking out and walking up to the door, it was locked. An employee ran over tried to unlock the door, but not succeeded. She ended up using force to pushing the door open. Wow To shop at Aldi, you need to insert a quarter for using the cart. You will get a quarter back when finishing shopping. They don't provide bags, so remember bring shopping bags with you! Based on the horrible experience and they don't actually have good selection of food, this is the only time for me. Definitely not coming back. read more

I absolutely love Aldi! The price points are fantastic when compared to Publix or Trader Joe's. The only thing you want to be aware of, is that you will have to sort through the produce at times. I truly inspect everything like I would at any grocery, but sometimes the produce isn't the greatest. If you need a quick few items or dried goods, this is the spot! They also have weekly deals and you can score slippers, arts and crafts, or candles! Their 3 wick candles are $3.99 and they smell splendid. I haven't been to this location in a while, because I can only shop on theweekends,and this is when it is most crowded. I had off today (thurs.) And thought it would be the perfect time to get my weekly shopping out of the way. Half the stuff I need, they were out of. Is there any specific day to shop at this store, when the shelves are stocked? Now have to go to another store, out of my way and see if they have in stock. For spend a fortune somewhere else.
