ShopRite has been letting my husband and I down the last few months-with the prices and how quick the produce goes bad we decided to try something new. We gave Aldis a go and it has been our go-to for cost friendly shopping ever since. They have a lot to offer, almost as if whole foods and Trader Joe's had a baby- this would be the outcome. It's a small store but in a confident location with plenty of parking. And for a small store they have so much to offer! The produce here has been great so far- it last for a decent amount of time compared to other places. Meat selection was pretty decent as well. On top of regular shopping you are able to "splurge" and still spend half the price you would at other supermarkets. read more

My mother LOVES Aldi's and this is her favorite location. She was very excited because they recently expanded the store a bit. Honestly I must admit even though some products can be hit or miss, there prices are great, and the produce is pretty good. They also have good prices on organic milk (which I buy 2 gallons of per week). This location is always clean, and he staff is also helpful. read more

Mmm, no. I had always been curious about Aldi stores, after a very quick visit yesterday I know I won't be back. Before I even stepped foot into the actual store, I was hit with an unpleasant smell in the vestibule. It was a mixture of half-rotten produce and dingy dollar store. Mmm...not off to a good start. One of those quarter-deposit carts systems. Thankfully I had a quarter, but my cart was badly broken. Like, shouldve been taken out of commission a while ago. Alright, well, can't look back now... Walking in, the "aisle" was just boxes upon boxes of knockoff brand snacks. Not appealing. I did a quick once-over of the produce section but I had already made my decision to leave. Glad that I know what Aldi's all about now, but I'm not a fan. read more

I was asked to stop here, by a person I couldn't refuse. AKA my wife, to get a gift card for her mom my MIL. She loves this store, I have never even stepped inside it ever. To tell you the truth I didn't even know grocery/supermarkets offered gift cards. It's located very close to my job, actually on the way home so that's why she asked me to stop and get it. I stopped Monday the day before Christmas Eve, it is in a small little shopping area with other different establishments as well. I figured this would be absolute chaos, but I was wrong not bad at all. I parked got out having never been there before tried to enter through the wrong door. I tried to pry it open until another patron showed me the correct door to use to enter. Once inside I figured I'd have to look for a customer service window/area didn't see anything. So I went up to cashier and asked where can I purchase a gift card he said right here. So needless to say I had to wait online behind people who had been grocery shopping. No big deal I wasn't about to cut in front of them. The cashier I spoke to cashed out and another took his place. Now I'm thinking oh boy this is going to take forever now. Nope very smooth transition from one to the other! The young lady who took over was quick with a capital Q!! Ringing up the people in front of me, their items like lightning. Now I don't actually have anything in my hands or on the belt cause I didn't have an item yet. The only thing in my hands was my wallet waiting to purchase the gift card. A nice woman in front of me noticed this and said, what are you waiting for? I said just to purchase a gift card, she said go ahead of me go ahead of me. I said No No it's ok, but she insisted. Very very kind of her to do that for a perfect stranger. I purchased my gift card wished the nice woman and cashier a Merry Christmas and was on my way. This time I found the right door to exit. read more

I love Aldi!! This one is clean, spacious, brightly lit and always have some special "daily" sales. Last Friday, I was able to get a bag of carrots for $0.25 (priced only for that day) and 3 heads of broccoli in a bag for $0.99 and a bag of 3 avocados for $1.30. There're also some organic produce too. Near the check out section, there's a section where packaged/canned food items are marked down - it's awesome!! It's like a treasure hunt whenever I am in the store. I also really like the seasonal items in this store. The apple cider in the Fall is one of my favorites and my bf loads up on the cider because he loves it so much. I have gotten all sorts of household stuff at a great price - kitchen bakeware, toilet seat, over the door shoe rack, all at great prices. As with all Aldi stores, bring your own bags, shopping carts are a quarter deposit, and debit card/cash only. read more

Never stepping foot in this store again. Went there a little before opening and saw the doors slightly opened. This bald guy was so rude to me because I tried to open the door at 8:59am. I apologized because I had no idea it was still early and he rolled his eyes at me like a bratty child. I told him that it really wasn't that serious and he started talking over me and being condescending. ( I was with my 9yr old daughter) as I walked away he continued to yell things at me and told me "have a good day asshole" in front of my daughter. Welp he messed with the wrong one cus I HAVE TIME. We went back n forth cus I will not allow anyone to talk to me like that especially in front of my child. Then when I had to check out it was him as the cashier. As I waited in line he yelled across the line and told me that he will not help me and that I had to wait for another cashier. The people behind me were so disgusted with his behavior that one man told him something ( I couldn't hear what was said) but as the customer was leaving the jerk of a cashier said something along the line as, oh here we go, another one - as in another asshole. I saw other complaints in other sites describing the same person who was rude to others as well. Well it stops here- I made an official complaint with corporate and They gave me a case number and are escalating this to the district manager. I am not one to want to hurt another person but something has got to be done about this man. He doesn't seem mentally well and acted like a ticking time bomb. Unfortunately my family and extended family will not be shopping in this store any longer. However you try to spin any customer service problem even if the customer is difficult you don't ever curse at someone like that. I love Aldi! I first discovered them when I was living in Orlando. It's a no-frills grocery store with a European sensibility. Owned by the same company as Trader Joe's, Aldi is full of their own smartly-designed products that echoes popular American brand food items. Occasionally, they even have real brand name items. Keep an eye out! To keep their prices low, they do not offer bags so be sure to bring your own reusable bags. Otherwise, you can ask for a cardboard box and load your goods in there. It costs a quarter to use a cart so be sure to bring one. Additionally, they only accept cash or debit. Their cashiers are SUPER FAST when they check you out! All of the items are put directly into the cart that you used. Once you're done, go to the ledge and bag your groceries as needed. This is very much like parts of Europe. Also, be warned that Aldi's does not have as wide of a selection as a regular grocery store would, but you'll indeed find everyday items like cereal, granola bars, chips, and cookies, as well as perishables like eggs, milk, yogurt, and bread. Produce can be a bit of a gamble. Sometimes, they're fresh and sometimes, not so much. They also have frozen food items! Additionally, Aldi's sells random items according to the season. During the spring, they'll be selling gardening items, and in the summer, they'll sell camping and barbecue-related goods. You just never know what you'll find really. The store is laid out similarly to a bulk warehouse store. They don't have multi-shelved aisles. Instead, they leave the items in their original shipping box and display them on the floor or a higher shelf. They also don't display their produce as attractively as most grocery stores do. I personally like to go to Aldi's before anywhere else because they're usually far cheaper than any other store and are as good of a quality. Read the nutritional information and/or ingredients and compare to the name-brand products out there just to be sure. Not sure how to feel about this place. Walked out with nothing as things just didn't seem fresh. I dont think I would ever really do any grocery shopping here. I've been here about 3 times and the first time, this place seem odd. Mostly because it the lay out isnt your typical supermarket. Prices are cheap which I guess are good when you are on a budget. Produce just didnt seem fresh and a lot of different name brands. what I did like is that they encourage bringing your own bags, kiddos to that! But, I will most likely stick my old favorite markets. read more

Food products been a hit & miss, of trial & error. Their frozen food, jarred pickles, various nuts and cookies do taste great, especially their frozen pizza. Fresh food such as vegetables, I will never buy from them again. Otherwise, it's affordable and do bring your own shopping bags, since none are provided. read more

Aldi is back in retaliation mode! Obtaining it's title as a price friendly, quality ingredient greatness of products mode. The vengeance is shocking and I am more than thrilled this store decided to make it's way on up. They are affiliated with Trader Joe's and have decided to take not the same but similar route to make it's way to more shoppers galore. The prices will make you feel as if bargains exist again and if you are a Whole Food's shopper then your jaw will seriously drop at the steals (not really steals but it feels like it!) Imagine the Black Friday of produce! The underdog Aldi is back and falling it's way into the hearts of it's customers. I am excited for all the organic, gluten free products at affordable prices. Aldi has always been a great place to buy home groceries even since I was living in Germany , Definitely even better now with their selection of organic products . Unfortunately at this location the manager team is very unprofessional and don't care about customer satisfaction , I had to complaint with the store manager around 2-3 times for expired products like Yogurts , Eggs etc and she not even apologize neither take care of the matter because this continue to happen like once a month and to me it is not only disrespectful to customers but also ridiculous that a store like this with such a limited selection of product s doesn't have the capacity of keeping good track of FIFO on their products and we as a customers have to do their job, to me that's very poor management. read more

It is what it is. We came to get the tents that were on sale $69! We also picked up a rug and our friend got a tent and some outdoor cooking gear. Prices are pretty good. The tent is 14'x10' and for everything that was on sale on Amazon this is a steal. I have shopped for food before and it's pretty good. They offer low prices because it is a no frills market- no bags, no pretty displays-boxes are just cut open, each location has about 4 employees, don't be surprised when they ring you up quickly they do not bag your groceries and will just refill your cart. So yes I was able to do a whole week of groceries for less than $50, but I guess it comes at a price. This place has no soul is the only way I can describe it. When you walk in it's depressing and quiet, very weird. And the cashier we just dealt with was so angry, he was literally throwing our items in the cart on top of our eggs with no regard of whether anything would break. When I asked him to stop he wouldn't even look at me. The minute I finished paying he slammed down a sign that said "On Break" and stormed off. Much better selection then the location on JFK Blvd. I visited both locations today and it was a much better experience with more items in stock so close to the holiday and they actually had all registers open not just 1..... I will definitely be making this my go to Aldi!! read more

I signed up for Yelp* just to respond to some of the negative reviews, and to give my opinion. So to the neigh-sayers. You guys are hilarious! "The cart is a quarter to use, they only have one kind of grape juice, they won't bag my food.." Please. Step back, and understand what's happening here. You are saving a TON of money at this place without sacrificing quality. It is NOT a standard grocery store, and it doesn't pretend to be. You won't find the same selection, you won't get bag service, they won't bring it to your car, you do have to return the cart to get your quarter back. So what's the upside? ALDI sells mostly their branded products. With very little exception, I have always found their products to be as good as the name brand equivalents. In fact, a lot of their products are made by the name brand companies and repackaged for them. Don't like paying $3+ for a box of cereal? Me neither, I pay half. Quality whole grain bread for $1.50? Yes please. Eggs for $.99 a dozen all the time? Yes! Organic Milk for half the price? Sure! My recommendation to anyone.. Go to Aldi and buy your staple products. Get them for half the cost. For everything else, go to your favorite main-stream or local shops. To the neigh-sayers. Open your eyes, understand and appreciate what they have to offer. read more
