    Did some Sunday groceries :)
    Kelly L.

Small place full of awesome variety. Though it's not open at all hours like some big name groceries, Juno is close to my home, so I tend to come here for quick produce shopping. One minus I would say is the hassle it is to find street parking. To shop here you need extra time to find street parking (a worthy feat in itself) or a get-away driver idling nearby. I normally come equipped with the latter, making grocery shopping a two person job. Though I'm a regular and generally have no trouble frequenting Juno, there's one bad experience I must mention. I came home after shopping at Juno and realized that the cashier had charged me double for an item. It wasn't a costly item, probably only a few dollars, and as a regular I thought I could just go back to the store and be taken at my word. When I went back and told the owner, he refused to acknowledge the mistake. It was a big disappointment since I've been a regular for years. I'm sure such a mistake could happen anywhere, but it think it was handled very poorly by the owner. Honestly after that experience I boycotted Juno for some time. So just a tip, check your receipt twice just to be sure everything is in order.

Flowers went from $20 per dozen to $25. They sure jacked up their prices after the new owners took over.

Juno Market always amazes me with the depth of their inventory. Every time I think, "Surely they don't have THAT! They do!"

I stop in here for quick week night dinners to throw together, or when I forget to pick up some produce item at ShopRite.

Our crew of friends and family decided to host a holiday dinner party here and it was absolutely…read moreawesome. The location is amazing and chic from the moment you walk in. Usually BYOB spots struggle to create the right ambiance, but this place has something special going on. We may have had a bit too much fun because we literally closed the place down with the staff. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and sharing them at the table because that is what we did and everything was deliciously decadent. The burrata was packed with flavor and the basil foam was impressive. The octopus with potatoes hit perfectly. I already know I need to go back for the crab empanadas and the short rib croquettes soon. For our mains, my wife and I shared the short rib yucca gnocchi and the lobster and ricotta ravioli. Amazingly tasty across the board. This place delivered from start to finish and we will definitely be returning.

Went in hopes of a good experience but left underwhelmed by it all. Apart from the table seating…read morethe entire experience wasn't the best. We were left ignored for over 20 minutes after seating. Finally when the waiter arrived for a drink order we had asked for a coffee to start. That didn't arrive until almost another 25 minutes and were told the bar area was busy. The food itself wasn't amazing or memorable. Ordered the cauliflower app- the sauce was too watery and didn't coat or stick to the cauliflower. If it was thickened it would glaze the cauliflower and you could actually appreciate how good it was and the dish would be so much better. For the mains we ordered the salmon burger and lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were ok but nothing amazing. The worst part was the speakers playing a happy birthday song that was extremely loud that even 2 other tables looked confused and disturbed by it. It played for well over a few minutes. I can appreciate a party being celebrated but not at the expense of the patrons in the restaurant. Also just a heads up- they add a 2.5% service charge to the bill. Only noticed this because the table seated next to us shared this and were upset by it.

The woman in the photo handling the food samples was extremely rude and disrespectful to my child…read more My child took a sample (only once), and she abruptly told my child not to return saying something I won't give it to you if you return? WTH??speaking in a harsh and inappropriate tone, and in front of parent. There was absolutely no reason to speak to a child that way. What is the problem for the child to take one single sample??? The behavior was so shocking and unacceptable. If you do not like your job, DONT be the there. Management, please take this matter seriously! It completely ruins customers' experience.

This is probably the best H Mart I've ever been to…read more We come to this H Mart pretty often because it's so nice. It has the best ever produce section of any grocery store I've been to in the New York City area. They have probably six different kinds of eggplants alone. You can get any kind of tropical fruit, any kind of citrus, any kind of grape, any kind of mango... Truly incredible produce. They also have an amazing seafood section. Live fluke, king crab, razor clams, abalone. They really have it all. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, they have ladies making kimchi, Bulgogi, samples, fresh fruit samples, roasted sweet potatoes to buy. It's a fun environment to walk around in. The food court is a huge disappointment. But there's a great Korean restaurant named Soram next-door that we often have lunch at. Make sure to also visit D'Avant Bakery next-door and pick up a cube of their chestnut bread.

After all, as we all know, there are precious few options for fresh fruits and veggies in the area. :( Red Jacket is up here, which sells a great variety of apples. There's a dairy stand, and I've picked up a pound of fresh ricotta for $5. They also sell a lemon yogurt that has several of my co-workers addicted; I'm afraid to try it. The bread stand plays fun music and sells a wonderful, redolent selection - baguettes, kale asiago breads, tomato onion breads, rustic breads, and so on. You can still pick up potted herbs, and there is a fantastic variety of seasonal vegetables. Currently, the winter squash look pretty awesome. I'm a bit biased because I work with CHALK, but do come check out the CHALK stand! I'm not even selling you anything - just telling you about healthy nutritional habits and giving you opportunities to win greenbucks (money to spend at the Greenmarket on fruits & veggies). :) I also heartily recommend the Greenmarket manager's stand - Kathleen is super sweet, and she makes delicious food for the demos every single week. We had butternut squash pizza yesterday. Some of her past gems include watermelon mint cucumber smoothie, charred pepper salad, and green tomatillo salsa. She has easy and nutritious recipes and a simple, fun lesson every week. Honey, kale, peppers - you name it, she's probably done a highlight of it at some point in time. The Greenmarket runs every Tuesday from 8am-4:30pm until late November. Credit/debit cards are charged an additional $2 to help offset the costs of free fruits & vegetables for EBT holders. (Oooh - if you have EBT, you get $2 in greenbucks for every $5 you spend). So if you don't have EBT, you can either bring cash or donate $2 to EBT when paying via credit/debit.
