My brother grabs a banana one and 3 workers come up to us and says "put it down" and said "we're not here to babysit, shop or leave" we told them we literally were shopping and they told us to look and buy our stuff we told them that's what we were doing they then said they'd pull up video footage and we told them to, they didn't and then they sat around staring at us for the next 15 minutes. We were literally shopping and bothered nobody , you guys approached us rudely and for no reason. Don't work there if you feel like you're babysitting.

This one is for the cafe…read more Things aren't what they used to be. I used to go to this Cafe at the end of every work week, I used to actually invite my friends to come with me. They would look at me strangely and say " really, you want to go to Hy-Vee for breakfast" I would Rave about how good their food actually is for being a grocery store Cafe. I can safely say that not one of my friends ever left disappointed. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Things aren't what they used to be. Even before the rise of prices of eggs for some unknown reason they decided to switch to the eggs you get from a carton. Very fake tasting and never really cooked that good. They went from using real mushrooms in their omelets to the cheap stuff you get in the can. They used to have very delicious sliced potatoes that would taste like heaven, but now you can only get hash browns that are very Bland. In closing, pretty sad when a cafe in a grocery store can't make your omelet with real eggs. Things aren't what they used to be. Still very friendly service. Although I don't know her name, there's a gray-haired old gal that is always smiling, always joking, and makes you feel right at home. Thank YOU for making me feel welcome. Sadly, I won't be returning until you start making an edible breakfast.
