Few years back, we figured we'd try and pretag a tree after Thanksgiving to go back and cut later in December, well it was the first year they stopped holding the tree for you where they would record the location by way of a grid system (like the game Battleship). So we tagged a tree and when we went back it was gone ( so much for the honor system). This year it appears that it's pay one price, any tree 5'-20' tall is $99. They used to charge by height, don't remember rate per foot? Didn't ask why the change. It would be nice to get a 20' tree for the price of a 5' foot, but cutting a hole in the ceiling would be out of the question. See what's doing next year?

The garlic had roots on it, as it should, and they were huge bulbs. They were out of strawberries that day. She said the cold weather has caused them to lose alot of the strawberries in their field. Today is 6-2-26 and we have approximately 1 more week of strawberries in Season. I'm not sure why they had none, because we went to another farm just 15 minutes away (Von Thun) and they had strawberries coming out of their ears ! They did have some pretty flowers they were selling.

Grabbed some organic produce which was all excellent- didn't love that the conventional section was much much bigger and there were less organic options. The bakery though is what brings it up to 5 stars- first of all, wish I had my kids with me because they would have enjoyed the experience. There's a burger window outside, a little cafe inside, a truck 'play structure' outside for little ones with a little slide.. beautiful plants and trees for sale .. the most delicious smelling jasmine plant I wish I took home.. a plethora of truffle cheeses (and other interesting cheeses)... and best of all the bakery. The raspberry cream puff was off the charts amazing. So good that I took a picture of it after slicing to post here. There are things I'd skip (really expensive organic eggs for instance.. rather go to Whole Foods for those and pay less) but otherwise - worth a visit if you're in the vicinity !

I picked up a few items for myself and family, and everyone loved their dessert. The cream puff I had was ginormous. Walking through the market, they have a ton of fresh produce and more. I really liked their Cajun crab dip. I also love how they offer free samples of the apple cider. When it was time to eat, we stopped in the little coffee shop area. I went with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not too sweet. The smoothie was also solid. The ham, apple & Brie panini was delicious! The apple butter complements this sandwich really well and I would definitely order it again. Overall, I loved my experience at Delicious Orchards. Next time I visit, I'll definitely come better equipped for some grocery shopping as well!

They do try to have signs like the dumplings in the photo I but there are many products that don't, like the flavored feta cheese I was trying to figure out. They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. Also, there is an ice cream stand next to the market opened daily, all ice cream is homemade and fresh! Their hot apple cider and cinnamon donut was a great treat! Since finding Ort Farms is not too far from us, we'll be back next year once the crops are back in season.

The farm was beautiful and well maintained. Playground was in perfect condition and even looked new! the kids definitely had so much fun. We went to their orchard and it was very organized however the PYO apples seem pricey for a small bag of $8 or $12. This was a separate purchase from the admission ticket which also included the orchard entrance and their hayride. During our visit (Sept) was also an event so they had vendors and a live band which was neat! there were enough tables/chairs fyi. We also tried their homemade icecream and I absolutely enjoyed their pumpkin patch milkshake and their special caramel apple cider slushie float which included an apple cider donut! it was so good! they also sell apple cider donuts and other homemade breads and pastries inside their well kempt shop! sure enough we had a lovely visit at their farm and would love to revisit again some day soon!
