This is where they filmed the movie "Aldi President's Men." Great spot to get cheap groceries right by the Gulf close to some pretty cool restaurants and whatnot. One thing I will say is that I've noticed these Aldi stores are usually in high-income areas and this is no exception. I'm not sure why rich people are the most deserving of a discount European Grocery Store but that's the way it goes and it's a lot more cost-effective than the big-name grocery stores around Naples. What don't they sell here? Spanking new self standing store, this place will definitely take away some people from Publix and Walmart. From fresh produce, bread, wine, toys, almond milk to jumper cables, Christmas lights, and small appliances. It's an interesting mix. Entertaining in fact when it's your first time. Dirt cheap prices. I priced Pure Maple syrup, fresh mangoes, nuts, gluten free pizza, dog treats and they were all rock bottom. Some name brand items but many not. Figure it's worth a try. Although I do not eat meat, they did have fresh packaged meats, cheeses, all you expect from a grocery store. *Important KNOW: you need a quarter to take a push cart which you get back when you return it after hooking it back up to the train. Amazing how this store was running the day I went with one employee stocking and automatic registers to check out. Not a very large store. Appearance wise, a little shabby looking. Many items on shelves still in their shipping boxes. Overall, is a good place to get grocery items. Prices are good especially on their brand. Meat department is limited. Aldi is an excellent addition to the SW Florida grocery market. Similar stock/items to Aldi stores in my area (Texas) with similar prices (some things were more expensive, though). But -- the prices here are FAR superior to most of the local grocery chains in this area. We all know the routine at Aldi: bring in your own bags, pack your own groceries, place a quarter in the slot to "rent" a shopping cart. I'm fine to live within those parameters because the savings here are so extreme. People do the same thing right across the parking lot at Costco - but here at Aldi, you don't have to buy a year's worth of pasta (or whatever) in order to realize a significant savings. Many of Aldi's produce items are excellent and often at half the price (or less) than what other local stores charge. Their fresh fish and meats are cheaper and just as tasty (variety can be limited at times, though, so be aware). Milk and eggs are always a bargain! Don't bypass the long display of wine and beer, either! Some fabulous finds at great prices (remember, this is the parent company of Trader Joe's and the "2-buck-Chuck" line of wine). Snacks like chips and crackers are similar to national brands and undistinguishable in taste. But what a difference in price! I love Aldi - I shop them frequently in my home town. Aldi is not a supermarket I will go to again. Prices are reasonable. It's not kept very clean. It's not dirty but it's messy. If you want a shopping cart you need to pay a quarter. It's returnable after you are finished I didn't know this because I only picked up a few things. There was only one cashier in the whole store. I guess that tells us something. When I said something a guy come out but he made it obvious he was being blathered. I put my few things and he said is that yours I said yes. He said to me. "Why is it over there? I replied there were two customers before me. I asked if the electric belt worked. He replied. I guess so. I said why don't you turn it on. He did. I paid and he put stuff in a shopping cart. I went to take it and he scolded me saying it was his. I was told to get a quarter and get one from outside. I eat told to go to the front of the store and bag my groceries but they don't have bags. Again I was scolded and told "didn't you bring bags". I came from Costco and went to check out the new store. I know in Costco they don't have bags but they let you use a shopping cart. Well I hate to do this, I'm not the type to complain, but this experience was inexcusable. I have been going to Aldi's for years in different states and this location about the last 4-5 or whenever it opened. The other day I went and for the last time. I bought the chicken breast that I've been buying for years. Waited a day to cook it and when I was preparing it found a whole worm in the food. Absolutely disgusting. Now I understand mistakes can happen so I contacted their team to open an investigation and figured maybe they will try to make it right and I would give them a chance to. After a phone call with their team they offered me a refund. I was pretty upset about that so instead of $11.62 refund they said they'd send me $15 gift card and said they'd look into it. So they pretty much just said ok here's $3 for the inconvenience. Almost feeding my kid and pregnant wife a worm is a $3 mistake. Such a joke I won't be going back and I hope you all inspect your food carefully. Very disappointed I'm how it was handled after being a customer for years. read more

I usually love aldi. I go here for groceries. When a friend told me they had LOL dolls for only 8.99 I jumped on it for Christmas. I just let my kids each open one and I'm pretty sure they are fake. They are super squishy and the paint of the hair runs on the face. and on the other one the lipstick looks like it was put on by a hooker. They do have a double guarantee for their Aldi exclusive brand and if you are not satisfied. You can get a replacement item and your money back free of charge. I have not redeem this but it sounds great on paper. The carts are locked to each other and require 25¢ to rent, once you are finished. I bought a jar of no-brand crunchy peanut butter at Aldi's that cost me $4,790. That's because I broke a tooth on a too-hard peanut part that felt like a BB in my mouth, and the dentist tells me it will take $4,790 to do the extraction and implant replacement I now need. When Aldi's says crunchy, they really mean it. Were they deeply sorry this happened to one of their customers? No, they were not. This bleak, drab, cheap-looking Aldi's didn't have a customer service counter, so the manager, whom I tracked down in the storeroom, gave me a complaint form to fill out at the end of a cashier line. After I got home, a young lady from corporate customer service called and told me I had filled out the wrong form. I asked her to send me a correct form, and after some whispering in the background, she said there wasn't any other form. So that was that and they got away with it. I'd be an idiot if I ever went back in an Aldi's, and so would you. read more

Love the store for its prices, but the quality of produce is very inconsistent. Stoped-by last Wednesday (Feb 5): white mushrooms looked slimy, old and rusty - a clerk mentioned that they always come like that. Bag of avocados were rock hard, after two days all three were black inside. Store looked picked-over, too many shelves not yet stocked by 11 a.m. Few weeks earlier we bought milk that turned out to be sour - four weeks before the expiration date. I love "our" new Aldi in Naples!!! Although very very busy due to it being the first day open, the staff worked hard to keep the shelves stocked. The worst cashiers in any grocery store ever! They will push the next customer waiting inline to another line, even though there is no cashier ready to cash them out, making them wait while the line they were next inline to check out, continues rolling. After speaking to 'Noah' the store manager on this day, he said that it was store policy to do this, to have the customer move to an unoccupied line, to start unloading their purchases and wait for the cashier to open up, even though the line they were in was moving along just fine and they were next to be served. Is this the twilight zone? I told him that it would be fine if there was actually a cashier waiting and ready. The cashier said it 'was no big deal' and the manager said I should contact management, but Aldi has no contact number, probably because they're in Germany, but they should use the Whatsapp for free international calls. Wake up Aldi lol. This is far from acceptable Aldi. We won't be shopping in this store that has slowly increased prices and constantly runs out of product when you find something you like. The fruit is far from fresh and borderline rotten. Probably best that this German company, that has absolutely no customer contact number, stay in Germany where this scene is probably above par, but not here is the USA. It pains me to give this store 3 stars. I LOVE shopping at ALDI and always go there; consistently saving $$$$. However this morning when I went to this store in Naples it was quite busy (which is not unusual). While on line I encountered a snarky Manager which has never happened before at ANY ALDI I have ever gone to. He closed the lane we were on (throwing the 'Closed' triangle on the belt which had customer purchases on it) and rudely telling those of us in line to move to the next lane while he then opened the register on the new lane. A customer said "Wow. You need more cashiers." in a friendly tone and the Manager rudely retorted "Look around. There ARE others. We didn't know it would be so busy at this time." Excuse me?????? How about a simple kind statement like 'Yes we are unexpectedly busy.'? If you are having a bad day DON'T take it out on your customers. We are who keep you in business! read more

My wife visits this store almost every day. I didn't bother to grocery shop with her until this past weekend as she continues to rant and rave about the workers and new store. All I can say is wow. I haven't been to an Aldi in ages and the layout of the store was just beautiful. To top it off, a tall young man, i think he said his name was Ryan, helped us with our selections and went as far to offer us a helping hand to the car. Just goes to show that you all are making a good name for Aldi and the Naples, Florida community. Will return more often with my wife. read more

I enjoy the shop, prices are good and produce is fresh. Would have given more stars but watch out for a rude cashier named , "Raymond". I've been there several times and he just throws and tosses items into the cart. He's bruised several of my fruits and vegetables. We shop here almost exclusively and have since the day they opened. Their food is much healthier and more trustworthy than any other store for a very fair price. Easy to find nonGMO, no high fructose corn syrup foods for my kiddos. Workers are great and remember you :) We love you, Aldi. read more
