Quick, accurate, expedient curbside service. Very pleased with price savings. ALDI is my go to store.

Hi folks! Mele Kalikimaka! We're heading into Christmas, but for me, it's still rib season. I heard…read moregrocer H.E.B. has a budget friendly brand, Joe V's, headed out to see. Picture Winco foods prices but Central Market swagger and quality. A warehouse atmosphere with upscale quality @ low low prices. Found meaty mcmeaty spareribs @ just $1.97/lb. Cheaper than Samsclub and Costco. Smoked them 4 hrs @ 250°, then wrapped them an hr @ 325°, then rested them before on open flam to mop with my sawsiest sawse. (Sauce somes in jars, sawse is made by pitmasters). These are competition level ribs, at a price other grocers struggle to compete with. Enough of me going on about them. Stop by, give this store a looksie. Grab a cart outside first, cuz that's how Joe rolls. Merry Christmas and a belly full of ribs!

The prices are just as great as the mega store. You can find cost efficient products without sacrificing value from fresh produce, meats, spices, and other highly sort after household items. These locations do not have a fresh seafood or butcher block, but you can find frozen seafood in the meat cases that range from crab legs, shrimp, to seafood boil bags. The cashiers are fast and friendly so don't let a long line intimidate you. This place is worth a commute if you do not have one nearby.

Organic ingredients are incorporated into recipes whenever possible (like smoothies with organic juice and soy milk, which keep well in a freezer). Crosby's organic, fair trade, shade-grown coffees (including decaf made using the Swiss water process) are locally micro-roasted within a few days of home delivery. When I used to order a week's worth of food at a time, I felt pangs of guilt about the waste my individually-packaged meals created, but no more -- Dallas residents can recycle the plastic containers Crosby uses in the city-issued blue bins for curbside pickup.

well i wish i could write a review about the food, however, i wont be getting any. i emailed on a…read morethursday and got a call from the chef/owner. she gave me pricing quotes and discussed a few brief things. i was at work and asked if i could call her tomorrow a saturday. i also told her that her pricing was very reasonable $20/head for my weddin catering. she said i COULD call her and looked forward to speaking with me. i called sat afternoon around 1230pm and got a voicemail. i left a message reminding her who i was, that we had spoken the day before and left my #. no call I called again around 430pm same day and left another message with same info adding i was really looking forward to doing business with her (this was 2weeks 3days advanced notice of wedding) it has been a week and i have NOT heard from the caterer so im assuming they dont need any extra business. congrats u must be thriving. im a little miffed and think if they were too busy a call to say it wont work out would be nice however since she had told me during that brief call it would be fine im bewildered. oh well. taking my business elsewhere

I absolutely love this market!! My husband and I try and go every weekend we are there, and the…read morepeople at the market actually know us now which is pretty cool. One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Below are all the dates left for 2010: September 11 September 25* October 9 October 23* November 13 December 11 (* = food only)

Super cute local market in Lakewood!…read more I think the term "farmers market" is a misnomer since there was only an itty bitty selection of produce and fresh foods. What they do offer is lots of local products like baked goods, soaps, salsas and unique crafts. I love supporting small, local businesses so this market is right up my alley. I copped some yummy French macaroons and a spicy marinade that I can't wait to try with some fish for dinner. It's small and the location changes every other week so be sure to check their website before you head out. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area but I would not make a special trip or anything.
