At the time that we went, there were only two variety of apples that were ready for picking. I ended up picking only the one I ate later because I figured I wouldn't be able to pack them in my suitcase, but they've got loads of stuff inside their cute cabin-like shop. I ended up buying a jar of apple butter that I took back home and put on practically everything! Because it was so hot the day we came, we bought some apple cider slushes, really cheap, and delicious! It made walking across the apple groves much more enjoyable. There's lots of shady areas where you can sit down and enjoy your beverage, or just hang out. This farm would be a fun time for the entire family as well.

There were about five employees in the store, one working at the ice cream section, some making popcorn, and some in the back makingCandy. Everyone was keeping busy, but they all greeted us. One of the gals offered to help and told us about the specials right away. We bought fudge because my husband and son love it and I bought truffles. Everything was delicious. I sampled a little bit of the salted caramel corn, which was equally tasty. I wish I would've bought some. We got some of our delicious candy and headed out. I really just love the atmosphere and how they created their space for their Candy shop. If you don't drive out to Marshalltown anytime soon, they also ship out all over the country.

The HyVee Pharmacy has been efficient with all my prescriptions. I also get all my flu, covid, etc., shots through them. Very convenient. Usually I find that weird hidden location taco shops are some of the best, LOL. But unfortunately not the case here. I will say the tacos I had were pretty authentic, and the meat flavor was okay/good enough. The beans were watery and a very grey color... not appetizing. The rice was bland... I prefer some veggies in my Mexican rice... this was just orange rice. Overall, I wasn't impressed. There are better Mexican options in town.
