dont use door dash from aldi linden nj. they never have the products. poor service. don't use them at all.

This Aldi's was clean, stocked very well as compared to others. They had the Cuban Sandwich chips too and I must say they tasted exactly like the sandwich; unbelievably tasty. read more

The last 3 home deliveries, from the Rockaway NJ store, that I ordered included rotted oozing produce. They also have stopped providing a receipt for the order, not in email, the bags delivered, or even online! They do not provide proof of any refund but make me wait 10 days to view it on my charge card. I'm done with that place. Very good prices but most of their stuff is brand less which I don't mind. You can't beat their prices on produce. It does get pretty busy on the weekends. You have to bring your own bags or buy theirs at 10 cents each. read more

Don't expect ALDI to meet your one-stop shopping expectations. They are likely pretty opportunistic about the products they source in order to keep prices low, and the trade-off is that you may not find a grocery product you need. For example, I needed to buy cat food, which ALDI didn't have when I was there, even though they did had bird seed and a few pet accessories. I was able to buy some cheap off-brand snacks and produce. If you're open-minded and on a budget, this would probably be a fun grocery shopping experience for you. Also, I was able to use my credit card here. I think other reviews said they only accept cash and debit-- that may have changed now. read more

Unfortunately, there was a woman and her son there NOT wearing masks and they were allowed to shop. The woman kept pulling her shirt up to use as a mask, but while shopping was mostly down. She was ahead of me on the checkout line and the cashier nor the manager said a word. I will take my business elsewhere. The risk of COVID is not worth it. read more

Welcome to Aldi, a German based grocery chain that offers everything you need at low prices. To appreciate it you have to understand the (fabulous) business model. Aldi offers most all the same foods and novelties that a "regular" grocery store offers; however, instead of 15 brands you will find 2. It's very possible neither will be one you know since again, they're probably German or European based. There are no "live" departments. There are packaged meats, fish (frozen), bakery items and TV dinners, but there's no deli counter, butcher or fish guy. There is however fresh produce, cheap steaks, seasonal novelties, paper and plastic goods, "specials of the week" ie. 8 frozen stuffed clams for $3.50 or a box of jalapeño poppers for $3, and some of the most amazing chocolate everything ever. Seriously - do yourself the favor and try any of the chocolate bars or chocolate wafer cookies. I really love the specialty mustards and trail mixes they offer as well. Presentation is made of just three or four wide isles with shelves stacked and racked with products. Amazingly, everything is clearly labeled and it's easy to identify prices. This particular store is clean and organized, and the staff is all incredibly friendly. Don't forget to bring your own bags, or you'll need to buy some there for $.05 or $.06 each. Also you need to put a quarter in the shopping carts to use them, but you get it back when you chain it back in place (ask for help if you don't get it). read more

Its best to go early in the morning, after a few hours it gets messy and the light shoppers are shopping. Only 2 cash registers open, the rest of the workers act like theyre filling inventory. Everytime I go, there are only two cash registers open, no express line! So when you're getting a few items you might be standing behind someone with over 60 items. If you come at opening, you might find yourself waiting for 30 min with other shoppers because the workers couldnt care less about opening the door. 2 stars for the cheap prices, Im pretty sure the owner of Aldis wouldnt be too happy about the employees work ethic at this location. read more

I went to this particular Aldi's to pick up a few items and decided to give it a show on my way home from work...Boy was I disappointed... 25 cents for a shopping cart and they do not bag your items...I did buy two items only this is due to the fact that a few items they had advertised were not in the store and there were no employees in the store too help you... Two cashiers at the register were the only two employees basically present... Only debit cards they accept as well as cash.... read more

I go to this Aldi at least once a week. It's usually not to busy in the beginning of the week I usually buy bread milk eggs fresh fruit and vegetables and cereals. My bill averages between 30 and 40 dollars. I never buy meat or fish there. I prefer it cut fresh on site and go elsewhere. The store is clean and the cashiers are efficient and pleasant which for me eguals an enjoyable shopping experience . I much prefer this location to others in the area. They recently remodel so it will basically look like every other Aldi you've ever been in with some minor changes here and there. I suggest you give them a try. read more

You have to be a true bargain shopper to shop at Aldi's. It's kind of old school here (e.g. you have to put a quarter in to get a shopping cart, but you get the quarter back upon returning the shopping cart, no biggie). Everything is bargain, reasonably priced but almost nothing is brand-name. You have to be open to that. If you're only about brand name then maybe this isn't for you. Now, I don't buy EVERYTHING from here (e.g. produce) but you get excellent bargain prices on snack foods, condiments/kitchen staples (e.g. veggie oil), boxed goods, paper goods, etc. I got a 10 lb. bag of rice here for $5! Trust me, while you may not get everything here, your dollar stretches a lot further than at other stores, even Walmart. P.S. they only take debit/cash, and you have to bring your own bags. Great food, great prices. Only things I ever got there that I didn't like were pork chops...the ones on top looked good, but those under were fatty...and tasteless grapes. No problem with any other meat or fruits. Great off-brand products that taste better than name brands, and terrific prices on baking supplies. Wish the produce was pick-your-own rather than pre-packaged, but still my favorite grocery store. read more

We come every other week to food shop but today was such a bad experience we were waiting on line 5 . "Kristen" was rude and had such a bad attitude . rushing you to pay saying to hurry cause her line was long and she didn't want to be there all day . Not only that but she was just slamming things in the cart. Idk if she was having a bad or what . Working in a fast paced environment you need to have patience !!!
